  1. Way cool Dave. You are a SUPER Guy so you deserve a SUPER Coin!
  2. thanks for all the info. I did locate the FB Group and have been added. I look forward to participating in all the up coming events. After September
  3. I was just searching Liberty MO and saw a event when I clicked on it I was thrilled to see that there is a group called KC Masters and it appears they have a monthly meeting. Does anyone know if they have a website or where I can get more information? Our move to the area is slightly over a month away and we are so excited to make new friends and learn the area through caching. I was just there earlier in the month and my daughter and I had a great time caching for 3 days and getting to know the lay of the land.
  4. Does anyone know of a brochure for CITO events? I am planning an event for the end of April and I want to have printed info to share with business. Yes I could make one myself but why re-invent the wheel
  5. My husband and I are moving to Lathrop, MO (30 miles NE of KC) in September. I was wondering if there are a caching group in that area? Looking forward to meeting new friends, hiding and finding new caches! Sandi TeamOrville
  6. Hello Sam, there is a app for the Challenges for your iPhone. I just found it a couple of weeks ago. It is totally awesome and makes logging Challenges so much easier. Here is the link for the iTunes. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/challenges/id455444525?mt=8 Enjoy TeamOrville http://www.cafepress.com/mrsosdesigns
  7. Hello I will be visiting London next week. I am from the US. I see that the coordinates are W000 - do I need to enter 3 zero's or will ONE be enough? Sounds like a silly question but here the numbers are W123. And when I go to Italy so I need to enter the zero before the 12? Thanks Sandi TeamOrville (1st time cacher abroad)
  8. Thank you everyone for your assistance. It was all very helpful
  9. Hello. This June I am touring Paris with my Girl Scout/Girl Guide troop. There will be three adults in the group that are cachers. We would love to grab a few caches while visiting London, but will be very limited on time. We will be visiting all the usually tourist locations. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could suggest some caches for us. Here is where we will be. • Place de la Concorde • Champs-Élysées • Arc de Triomphe • Eiffel Tower • Versailles • the Louvre Thank you very much Sandi TeamOrville

  11. Oh no this is very simple for me. I host monthly events for all the girl scouts in our area that take a lot more effort then this. I just wanted to know the dos and don'ts on a cache page. I already have donations rolling in. Thanks Sandi TeamOrville
  12. I am hosting an event this coming October. I have sent out letters for donations. I have received several favorable responses so far. Last year a local cacher hosted her annual event and listed the websites (including their dot.com address on the cache page), and the event page was put on hold! Appeals took place etc. Now it’s my understanding that I can list the company name, but not their URL, etc. on the cache page. Is this correct? I don’t want to get my event put on hold. But, I cannot locate anywhere on gc.com that states the does and don’t of showing who has provided you with donations. Help please, Thanks Sandi TeamOrville
  13. Wow everyone's ideas on this subject has been very interesting. All that I know is that even my new caches havent been hit by local cachers yet. There are 2 that I can count on to make the hite right away. But I know there are others in the area that have not yet. As Team Sagefox said, this is town in the main Hwy way to the Redwoods and Coast. We get a lot of passers by. It has been hot this year, but not as bad as last year. I know that when it's going to hit 100+ I go out real early in the a.m. Although gas prices have been high (& luckly dropping) that has personally not detered me from caching. My main concern is that Caching is dropping off! I personally love it, and I don't want to see it become a fade! You know like a hula-hoop, or 3D movies. LOL!
  14. I don't know if it is the area or just my caches, but I have noticed a big drop in caches being hit this year compaired to last. Last year (during this time of year) I had cachers finding my caches several times a week. This year there are only a few a month. Has anyone noticed this happening to them? I wonder what's up
  15. In the macro section there is one for logging cache. Run that macro and it will take you directly to the log sheet
