I have a question regarding the package I have to send... as it probably will go around the world, would it be OK to include one of my activated coins, so that the receiver of the package can set it out in a cache to travel? This coin will NOT be part of the mission and will stay in my property, I just want it to travel a little bit further than just hanging around in Germany. Would that be OK?!? Steinwälzer

If you can see a coin listed in a cache description here on this website, it is activated. Of course it can happen that you come to a cache where you find a coin that is not listet on the website of the cache because someone just dropped it a few hours ago or didn't have internet access after he / she dropped it, but it activated. So, if you find a coin which is listet with the cache, it surely is activated, and if you find a coin which is not listet, you have to check if it is... Steinwälzer

Did you know that here in Germany we have kiwis too (the plant, not the bird)? My uncle has one kiwi plant in his garden, and every year he can harvest tons (ok, kilograms, more than 50 kg!) of delicious kiwis, big ones which look and taste as good as the ones we buy at the supermarket. I have a small notebook in which I write down the basic information about the caches I have found (name, GC-number, coordinates (of the cache, if it is a multi-stage-cache), date and time found, trades, travelbugs and coins) Steinwälzer
