Yes unfortunatly i think I found it while camping in southern In a couple of weeks ago. Did a few caches down there and found a lovely nest of ticks and chiggers. Yeah us... It is slowly starting to go away but not quick enough. I have it on all appendages.(sp?) I haven't had Ivy for a long long long time. prolly over 5 years or so.... It's not being my best friend right now. lol.

I assume GerbilMafia is talking about my caches since he has found, by my count , 44 of my " caches" (sic) out of his total of about 85 finds. That's better than 50%, and I assume he enjoyed them or he wouldn't keep hunting them. He's right that I am sometimes slow to maintain my 180+ caches. I DO replace them, though, I don't just archive them when they are "plunderd" (sic), as he has with 3 out of the 4 hides he owns. The statement that I take "forever" to maintain some caches might be a slight exaggeration, but the statement that " The cahes (sic) them selves (sic) never seem to be maintained after the initial hide." is just plain WRONG. I replaced two MIA caches just this week, and I have replaced MANY others on a regular basis over the years. I'm truly sorry this cacher is getting "agrivated" (sic), that's not my intent in hiding caches. I don't know what "advise" (sic) to give him. I guess I can say I'm sorry I've let him down, and I will try to do better in the future. I guess the only thing I can say in my own defense is that I have repaired and replaced other folk's caches many times and many cachers around here have done the same for me. And, yes It's true that I've saturated this area with cemetery hides and Reservoir Woods hides, but a new cacher came along about six months ago, who lives about four miles from me, and he now has about sixty hides in this area, so I guess I didn't scare HIM off... Anyway, I DO maintain my caches, and I have a list of those that needs attention and I work on it on an ongoing basis. As I said, Sorry and I will try to do better in the future. --LEAD DOG Sixdogteam , we have hunted many many many of your caches and have enjoyed each and every one of them . Speaking as someone that hunts your caches often, I can say that we have had to log DNF's on them very few times , and that after we have logged a DNF it seems that you replaced or repaired said cache within a very reasonable amount of time . We enjoy your caches very much and for the record we think ( well we know ) you have inspired many others to place caches that are thoughtful and full of historical value , especially if you take the time to read the webpages that list the cache. There dosen't seem to be a "your territory " or a "my territory" issue .... Its more of a "who finds the cool place to put a cache first " kinda thing that is going on if you ask me. I think lots of these places would have been completely overlooked by many of us had it not been for your placing a cache there . Place what you are comfortable with maintaining, and keep on caching ! We don't need anymore "limits" placed on people , we have enough of that going around already ... Star I don't think that there should be a limit on how many caches that one cacher should place. As long as they are maintained and kept up there isin't a problem. I have found many many many of SDT's caches along with many of us fellow ISQers. We LOVE THEM. There is alot of history in them. And as far as the ones at the resivouer (sp) along with the ISQ's How many people actually know that these places exist. You would have normally kept on driving and never gave it a second thought. I personally love them. People chill out and enjoy the game that is why it is here. And what will happen if every cacher that has ever signed up is only allowed to place a certian amount of caches there wouldn't be that many caches and you would end up driving further. If the caches are in your area go find them. for the out of towners I'm sure they would love to hit 50- 100 cahces in one day. think about it it ups your stats right?.... Sorry if I have offended anyone but this is just my opinion.....

I thought about it but I don't think that ma would have liked that to well. I'd give a big ol hug to a pig. there so cute..: mmmmmmmm beeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrr... 'Ev wonders, what does one do at 3:35 in the morning, this is what you do type in the forums to make a post that noone will read and will skip over and say what is wrong with that woman. "Boy she's a whako" I hear that alot... *thinks that I should make a pq for nothing but ISQ's and find them all. yeah that is what I need to do. I could so totally rock. It was a wonderful day in the world of Ev until..... she went caching "all by myself" ( i know the tense is wrong but how would you really refer to yourself 5th person...?? until she fell down because something reached up and grabbed her. She was listening to scary stories by herself and then when she got out to go get the cache is when it happened. She screamed and a stick poked her in her side and she banged up her knee. and when she realized what had really happened she felt like an idiot. it wasn't anything reaching up to grab her it was a tree root that moved something is out to get her she thought. Oh yeah. Star was at home makin her life impossible so that her log entry wouldn't make any sence and make her just ramble because she has nothing else better to do. Man I really need a life. edit: who knows prolly to add something that makes no sence.....

Welcome Tranziq , I'm glad that your friends introduced you to our wonderful sport... Be on the look out for me any cache that I attempt turns into it's own little 'Adventure'. *gasps*OH NO!!!!

In a cache somewhere in some far off land where ppl find others walking down the road/ ditch/ ravine, to look for ammo cans and or other misc. items that is h2o tight and hidden somewhere in a whole dug by a groundhog. That is where I've been for the past 3 days... in the whole talking with my new friends. They seem to like me but they kicked me out. They said that I was making their whole to noticeable. Oh well. Better luck next time. Maybe I can make a new friend with a frog somewhere. hehe

SDT I just seen on the news that the old Girl Scout in Huntington county........ That makes me very extreamly happy since I was a Girl Scout for 50 billion years.. I was discussing this a while back ago with ma that I hope that it get's 'revived' so that maybe more caches could go in there. Maybe even expand the existing ones there or around there at least. I haven't found an article on it but... I didn't know if anyone else had heard it.
