  1. It is clear that nothing is clear. I'll wait as long as I have to, I won't change anything here. And I'm certainly not questioning your personal lives. I fully understand that this is a voluntary activity, and we all have lives without a hobby. I was just wondering why some geocaches (apart from events) are released earlier than others. I realize that there may be different difficulties, etc., but a queue is a queue. Anyway, thanks for your replies, just waiting to see if mine takes 7 days or not.
  2. Hello, what are the criteria for choosing when to publish a geocache? I noticed that one's geocaches are published earlier, others later. As an example: yesterday a person sent a request to publish an event (today it was published), and the request to publish a geocache has been waiting for its confirmation for 6 days. I know the 7 day rule, but it's just very unusual that an event that was requested yesterday was published faster than the request to publish the geocache (the request was sent last Friday, still nothing). Also, one geocacher said that he sent the geocache to be published, waited a week, and his wife sent it the day after and waited only a day. Just don't think I'm writing out of anger or anything. It's just really interesting why some take a relatively long time, while others are published almost immediately. A bit of luck?
  3. Hello. So, after many conversations with our reviewer, the following challenges were chosen. Also BINGO. Hard for someone, easy for someone. Anyway, I'm happy with the result. Thanks everyone for your help.
  4. yes, 'geocaches', probably would be better
  5. 4x4. - Visit 4 foreign countries and find 4 geo-treasures each. Better or still not a geocaching term?
  6. Ah, okay. Now I understand. Then answer is no - you must pass the checher. Yes, you are right. They phrashed exactly like that. Thanks for the correction.
  7. Well, that's right, you can find it at any time, but mark it in the system only when you pass the checker. Simple.
  8. Hm? We have a fresh cache where you need to find 700 caches in a city. Published 12/16/2022.
  9. Then what is the need for a checker if a person does not have to pass it?
  10. Thanks a lot everyone for the replies, today's reworked challenges look like this. Maybe not very difficult, but our main idea is to encourage new geocachers. 1. 2000 geocaches finds (total). 2. 4x4. visit 4 countries and find 4 treasures each 3. 300 geocaches in Kaunas city (hit the amount of 300 found geocaches within the city of Kaunas). 4. To have 60 possitive attributes. (total) at project-gc. 5. 40 virtual (type) founds. 6. Find 6 different types of geo-caches in Kaunas city. 7. Attend an event that has "night cache" attribute. 8. 25 attended event's (total) 9. To have 35 negative attributes (total) at project-gc. 10. To have found a geocache older than 8 years. 11. Attend an event that has "boat required" attribute.
  11. Now I understand that existing geocaches from before cannot be an indicator, sad. I think something like this: 4x4. visit 4 countries and find 4 treasures each. Find 6 different types of geo-caches in Kaunas city. We don't have much letter-box geocaches here, but i chsnging it to: 40 virtual (type) founds. I can guarantee - it will be. We don't have much letter-box geocaches here, but i chsnging it to: 40 virtual (type) founds. Mine will also be of 6 types, but simpler: Find 6 different types of geo-caches in Kaunas city
  12. If anyone has any suggestions on how to replace those 2 with some other challanges, I'd love to hear them!
  13. Interesting. We have found a 4x4 in the Czech Republic. But thanks, will have to think of new ones. :/ And 15 events. Is that really against the rules? A person does not have to participate in 15 events in a certain time, there are no "instructions" for that. Just an incentive to participate in events. EDIT: I did not fully understand, now it is clear that it is suitable. "No go" 6 types in 24 hours, okay.
  14. Hello, I have a question. We plan to do geo-challenge geocacahes. I want to ask if all the challenges we came up with are possible and will be approved if we do them? Here is the list: 1. 3x3. - within 24 hours (one day) to visit 3 foreign countries and find 3 geo-treasures each. 2. 1000 geocaches finds (total). 3. To have 60 possitive atrributs. (total) at project-gc. 4. 10 letterbox (type) founds. 5. find 6 different types of geo-treasures in 24 hours. 6. Attend an event that has "night cache" attribute. -------------------------------------------------------------- 1. 15 attended event's (total) 2. 100 mystery finds (total). 3. Found a geocache with minimum 50 favorite points. 4. To have 35 negatibe atrributs (total) at project-gc. 5. To have found a geocache older than 8 years. 6. Attend an event that has "boat required" attribute. Thank you in advance!
  15. Hello! I have a plan with one friend to make another geo-trail. We have quite a lot of space for this near our hometown. Of course, we will coordinate everything with the forester so that there are no problems. I am writing with a request. We are looking for interesting geocaches examples. Interested in everything. Also, if there are any interesting things to buy online - you can share the websites. Thank you! The area where are we planning this geo-trail:
  16. All good, he was on vocation. Topic can be closed
  17. Still - nothing... 😔 honestly, this is very strange, never happend to me before. I already re-submitted all three caches.. 👀 I hope this will help the reviewer spot my hides..
  18. Hm. Probably everything is fine with them. Just simple, traditional treasures, without any hidden puzzles. Distances, too, must be good... But thank you, it is now clearer why the publication of the treasures could have moved off... Need to wait.. ?
  19. No, new treasures are already being published. My question is in what order the publicity takes place. Because I’ve been waiting since Thursday, and a treasure was recently published that was laid later than mine. ?
  20. Hello. Quick question. Sorry if this section is not appropriate for this. I know that due to the corona virus, the publication of treasures is restricted in Lithuania. Everything is fine with that. But my question is: in what order are they made public? For example, I sent three treasures for publication on Thursday, and today was a confirmed treasure that was sent for review today (Sunday). Maybe there’s some sort of queue or does it matter at all? also i didn't get the emails that they 'locked' for a certain date .. I'm a little worried .. thanks for the answers!
  21. Well... Big THANKS to all of you, finally my library cache is ONLINE! Really, all of you helped me alot explaining and ecxplaining, again and again. Sorry for my folishness, and sorry for my rude messages, I was really tired with this cache and do it right. But.. it's a great lesson for future!
  22. I just got a mail - "a new geocache was just published", sadly, not mine. But I will make update how it's going with my multi-cache.
