  1. I am once again a Premium member! Thank you all for your help. I must have accidentally tossed that "Payment Failed". But as soon as I saw the problem I updated my credit card in PayPal. Last night I saw this in PayPal's description of my subscription: Subscription Date: May 25, 2003 Time: 11:40:39 PDT Status: Failed --------------------------------------------------- Last Payment Attempt Date: May 27, 2008 Next Attempt Date: May 30, 2008 Amount: $3.00 USD And sure enough, the payment went through today, the "Next Attempt Date".
  2. Nope. I get this: You have already activated this subscription.
  3. I use PayPal for my monthly premium membership payment. Alas, my credit card expired, so a payment to Groundspeak failed to go through. Now the geocaching.com website no longer considers me to be a premium member. How do I fix this? I didn't see a "try again" option in PayPal. Thanks for any help.
  4. Write to contact@Groundspeak.com. It worked for me.
  5. Eric of Groundspeak fixed it for me. All is well! Thanks, all, for your advice.
  6. Huh? Everything worked out? No, I am still a basic member, and when I try to view a subscriber-only cache listing I get the error: Sorry, the owner of this listing has made it viewable to subscribers only. Visit the premium member page to find out how to upgrade your account to a premium member.
  7. I re-entered my subscription number, and the web page notifies me that "You have already activated this subscription", but it still shows me to be a basic member. I edited my original post to remove the subscription number. I will now write to contact@Groundspeak.com. Thanks.
  8. I (dshadovi) am a premium member, but the web site insists that I am a basic member. I pay via Paypal and I just received my monthly Paypal receipt today. But I have not (yet?) received the "Groundspeak Subscription Renewal Notice" email message stating that my payment has been received. Tried logging out and back in. Subscription # (edited out)
  9. Here's another vote for the old zig-zag map depicting all of a TB's caches in one image.
  10. Thanks, Dru. I posted a similar question in the SoCal Geocachers "Caches Along a Route/Area" forum. See Los Angeles Metro Rail station coordinates. I should be able to get the Red Line stations soon.
  11. Thanks, GPSKitty. I'm just learning the ropes about usage of these forums. I posted to the regional forum as you suggested.
  12. I'd like to put together a day of geocaching based on the LA subway system. Has anyone done this? The caches would have to be very close to stations, because I go with my 4 kids, ages 3-11. I asked this in the general forum, but GPSKitty told me that this is the proper place. She also pointed me to the Gold Line Cache and A Walk on the Wayside in S. Pasadena. Thanks. -David

  14. Thanks, BloenCustoms and welch. I hadn't thought of editing a WP.
  15. Newbie here, armed with a Garmin eTrex. I've read through the manual, and I've even found my 1st cache, but here's my question: Can I program a destination lat/lon into the machine? I see how to mark my current lat/lon as a waypoint. But I want to read the lat/lon of an interesting-looking cache on the geocaching website, program it into the device, and navigate to that position. Much obliged.
