I have a routeable map and I put lock on road = on. However if I change the profile, for instance from pedestrian to automotive and return back to the pedestrian I lose it. I could see it in the profile file (xml). I do not know why I lose it. <LockOnRoad>0</LockOnRoad> Does it work fine with you? Thank you

Hi, why is Garmin so quiet? No SW updates for etrex models, Montana models and for the new oregon models. All of them need some attention.My Etrex freezes some times. And for what I read both Montana and the new oregon also have some bugs. Are new models come soon? Regards AA

Hi, Sorry, I forgot to say that. I have an Etrex30 When I have the 2.87 installed I sent an email to the beta team but it seems they didn't do anything about the freezing issue. They asked me to sent them a few system files. Maybe they couldn't reproduced the situation I reported. But it seems that it does happen to other people. It should be a bug. It's the first time I experienced a freezing and shutdown issues so frequently with a Garmin GPS. Lets wait and see.

Hi, unfortunately I must agree. Garmin lunch to many products even finished them totally. In the past Garmin react much faster to the bugs that the users found. Even for the most expensive one. Because I like Garmin I am sad about this situation. I hope this change soon. I prefer less models but more reliable. Future will tell.

Hi, I have a etrex30 and for the first time in 8 years I am not satisfied with garmin (I have other models). The etrex is not very fast recalculating routes and it frozen very offen. I have to took the batteries off. Garmin released a beta sw version last october and since then I am waiting for a official sw with bug corrections. It seems that Garmin does not give attention to the etrex model

Hi, perhaps someone could help me. My mapsource don't find the waypoints that I have on my Etrex 30. It says that the Etrex does not have any waypoints but it has. However, Basecamp find them. This is very odd to me. Any suggestion? Thank you

Hi, Garmin has accustomed us with frequent updates. For error correction or new features. But now those updates have been less frequent. At least for the new etrex model that still has some bugs. I hope that the Christmas holidays have been revitalizing for all guys from Garmin. Regards, AA
