General Viper had one of his coins go missing in Detroit. How does he log it as missing and take it out of the cache inventory? This was his only traveler, I wish the cacher had not dropped it in a cache that has logs about how often it is muggled!

This is not true. Having a nephew that is a police detective, let me tell you lots of stolen merchandise is recovered from people who bought it. Knowingly or NOT. The police do not reimburse you for confiscating stolen property.

Wow CCC I am so sorry you are in this situation! My CCC coin I retrieved from a cache is my prize possession. I have figured a way to take it to events and still make sure it doesn't disappear. I can't imagine anyone selling it, and yes you made it quite clear from the beginning these where not to be sold. As for your question Mark, I feel it is never ok to sell a coin that has been activated by someone else. If you activated it and are willing to adopt that is completely different.

Just know in the browse map if you are doing a micro or cache near a road, the unit will "snap" to the road and walking to the cache won't work. It's fine if your far out away from roads. This is how I first started caching until I found I really needed a handheld. Esp after TomTom stopped supporting 3rd party software (Offroad Navigator) As explained above GSAK is the best way to create poi files. I still do this and load them to the TomTom as I use that to navigate to parking for the cache, then switch to the handheld.
