    GenCon 2007

Just seeing who'll be in Indy this weekend. Perhaps we can arrange a gathering.
  4. Yeah ... but Daggy's got more states.
  5. Sorry, can't be Doobies, he's Reviewer Hilts. Wulf Doobies? Hilts? The same guy?!?!??! I'm so confused....***counting with fingers*** What's next? You're going to tell me IndyDiver is Mountain Climber?!? *sigh* No way. But ... I'm Batman.
  6. I'll be in Bicknell this weekend announcing the Knox County Fair demolition derby.
  7. I always have my pictures of Brainsnat ... but I can't show them here.
  8. Thank you Torry, Who should I make the check out to? Cash only, little missy. This is strictly a cash business.
  9. I arrived late to the Bash but I'm not supposed to tell what I saw.
  10. WE ARE LEAVING FOR MWGB2007 IN AN HOUR. ALL INDIANA HELLOERS ARE INVITED TO STOP BY AND SAY HI! AT OUR TENT IN AREA 51--BRING COLD BEER-- --Lead Dog and Patrick Congrates on the finds and have a blast at the bash, no way I can make it. ON the + side the couty fair starts tomorrow in Greencastle and runs all next week so I'll be eating BAD next week. C'mon down to the Johnson County Fair. I'm announcing the demo derbies this week.
  11. Heh...that's why most of the ones I've found here have 'Not an IED' wrote on them. Lots of folks get the idea that caches in Iraq are off base.NOT THE CASE!They are ALL on base. Our troops have bigger things to worry about than caching while out. I'm glad I had some caches to find while I was here in Iraq. They're also in Afghanistan as well. I just went hiking with another cacher that just got back from Iraq. Their unit confiscated 3 GPS units from the insurgents and he was called upon to assist because of his intricate knowledge of how they work, UTM conversions and so on. One of the unit had waypoints in Tennessee in it. Yikes. dadgum insurgents!! probably gonna blow up the jack daniels distillery! They're planning on blowing up light poles in WalMarts now?
  12. The boys in Battery D have no complaints.
  13. "Dagnabbit. I thought I grabbed my GPSr. This is my electric razor."
  14. "Whose great idea was it to go paperless? I'm out here with nothing but scrawny grass and poinson ivy. I sure ain't wipin' with this. Let's hurry up and find the cache to see if there's any paper left in the logbook."
  15. "Beam me up, Scotty. ... Scotty! Beam me up! ... Scotty? .... Darn it! Lost signal."

So what is this going to his other career as a Rock-ette?

    Robinson Illinois

I'm still barred from Robinson... and much of illinois and Iowa. Stupid day care center security cameras.
  18. This is why there are no dogs in the Grand Ol' Opry.
  19. We were lucky enough to buy a house VERY close to this cache (no, not on purpose) and our 5-year-old loves to walk down and visit it every now and then to trade out trinkets. I also swap out BookCrossing selections - it's a terrific cache. ... and don't forget to get your copy of the Southside Times. I'm a regular columnist now <brag-brag>.
  20. My GPS 315 mourns the loss of a comrade. He'll just have to trust Patrick's nose and other skills. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ... yeah, right. He is SO lost.
  21. Well, I've been caching mainly closer to Greenwood as that is where my family currently lives down there. I would be just as happy to bop from ISQ to ISQ, but I have 9 year old nephew who likes ammo cans. Okay, I am trying to finish IMM's "A little Indy Magic" series...but at 2 caches a visit it will take us quite a while.... But I'll make sure I have SS times cache in my database for my next trip down there. Any others you can suggest I can take the kid to? Ruster Park and Southeastway Park on the east side ... and not horribly far from several in Beech Grove. Southwestway park on the (duh) southwest side of town has some real caches. Garfield Park is convenient and has a large cache ... that tends to get muggled regularly.
  22. It's frustrating, I know. Keep in mind that there are not a lot of places that the local indigent population don't visit. Also, many of the local parks have seen several generations of caches as cachers have come and gone. The down side is that there aren't a lot of caches that are fun for kids (or those of us who like the goodies at the end). The upside is that there are many caches in the downtown area for those who are just passing through. We get a lot of travellers, convention-goers, etc., downtown who can grab some finds during a lunch break. ... but there's always the Southside Times cache to make up for it ....
