Hi Tadpole, I am fairly new to using my Garmin eTrex 10. I will try to help. Go to the geocaching website. Find the cache you want to download. I plug the cable that came with my unit to my laptop. Hit the "send to my GPS" button. You should see your unit listed. Click on it. The info should transfer to your Garmin. Hope this helps some! Phroglegs2
