  1. This is becoming a fairly common thing. I am fed up with not getting my manual PQ's. I gave up on scheduled PQ's over a year ago because I was tried of getting my PQ's 2 or 3 days late. I don't know why this problem can not be fixed once and for all.

  3. Thanks for all your replies. Yes it appears to be working now.
  4. Anyone else having problems with PQ's not running today? I set several manual PQ's off this morning and they still have not run after quiet awhile, which is unusual.
  5. I normally don't like messing with TB's or GC's and only will pick them up if I can really do something for them like take them from Florida to AZ. I usually don't even log that I saw them which my wife chews me out about. My wife on the other hand loves them and does all sorts of thing to move them along and take photo's etc.
  6. This happened to me a couple of weeks ago and I contacted GC about it and they said not a problem on their end. Since it was only 1 PQ I was not to worried about it but today it is 3 PQ's. I received one. These are not scheduled PQ's but manually submitted PQ's. I gave up on scheduled PQ's over a year ago. I never received the one PQ from a couple of weeks ago so I don't have much hope I will receive the three from today. Unfortunately with the 5 PQ limit, I can not re-run them. Since one of these PQ's was to populate a new database I guess I will have to manually pull all the gpx fills and add them this way.
  7. I have run three PQ’s this morning and I received the first two without a problem but the third one which I ran a couple of hours after the first two, although it ran okay, has not arrived in my email. I have emailed Geocaching.com to see if they may be having a mail server problem but have not received an answer. It has been over 12 hours now since the third PQ ran and I still have not received the PQ in my email. It is not being blocked by gmail since I received the other two without a problem. Has anyone else had this problem or know what might be going on?
  8. I have a problem with it actually displaying the map at all sometimes. I sometimes just get a big white square. I have updated to IE8 so maybe it is related to that but it does not happen all the time.
  9. Presently CacheBerry does not have a compass in it but this is being added and in the near future you will actually be able to go caching with the phone and use it as a GPS and PDA.
  10. I am having the same with not receiving PQ's that have run today. I also use Gmail but from the problems others are having with other carriers that does not seem to be the problem.
  11. Same problem here. PQ's have run but the emails have not been received on Gmail. Was working fine yesterday.
  12. Thanks guys for your replies. It took about 24 hours for it to finally appear as being disabled when I viewed it online. I was ready to enable it by then. :-) I would not have mentioned the problem but this is the second time I have seen it happen so I was wondering if anyone else had noticed a problem.
  13. I disabled one of my caches today but it is not showing as being disabled in the group of icons for the cache that show the number of Finds, DNF's etc and and when I download a GPX file it does not update GSAK to show it is disabled. Here is the cache page in question: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...1b-c88fcccb2ff1 Has anyone else noticed this problem are know of what might be causing the problem?
  14. Yep still broke or "fixed" depending on your point of view.
  15. I have Verizon Wireless with a Blackberry. Vz Nav. will not unlock the GPS so you can use it for geocaching. I have purchased a puck, GlobalStat BT-338, and use CacheBerry. Very soon CacheBerry will not only have the database function but a compass to guide to the cache.
  16. I could not agree with you more. I have completely given up on running scheduled PQ's because I got fed up with getting them 2-3 days after the scheduled run. Now I can not even get new PQ's to run. Something needs to get fixed.
  17. I have one that I use with GSAK and CacheMate on Windows XP and Vista. It works fine but I am in the process of moving toward using my BlackBerry Curve.
  18. Are you sure. I thought the actual FTF column had to be marked on the cache. I had to manually go into my found database and mark all my FTF's before they would be picked up.
  19. Also if you have any caches that you have placed you will need to create a database for them and then input the name of this database in the macro.
  20. Yes scheduled PQ's have become almost useless if you need them in a timely manner. If you need them by a certain time just make a copy of the the PQ and run it. It will run almost at once.
  21. I am having the problem with scheduled PQ's not running in a timely manner. It was so bad that earlier this week I rebuilt all my PQ's. Once the PQ's had run they then started not running in a timely manner. I have entered a problem ticket with GC. Hopefully something will be done about the problem.
  22. You might find this interesting. http://www.cacheberry.com/History.aspx I have been going through the samething and have pretty much decided I will go with either the Palm® Treo™ 800w or Treo™ Pro. It looks like the Treo™ Pro is the only one that has a true built in GPS so I will probably go with it.
