Just stumbled on these and was inspired to add a couple of new ones for 2008 (with a bit of a New England twist and much help from Mr Kestrel and Daughter Kestrel):
O Little Cache in Lexington
O little cache in Lexington,
How clever is thy hide.
A micro in an old stone wall,
All seekers are defied.
Yet through thy dark recesses,
I'll shine my new flashlight;
Unless a muggle happens by,
I'll sign the log tonight.
While Cachers Sought Their Swag by Night
(sung to the tune of "While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks by Night")
While cachers sought their swag by night,
Across the snowy ground,
They raised their lamps above their heads,
And firetacks shone around.
They feared they would not solve the clues,
With greatly troubled mind,
But then glad tidings rang about,
As they heard "I made the find!"
Happy Holidays one and all!
