  1. Maybe I should have noted this problem a month ago when I first noticed it. I just "bumping" it up on the thread, now that the other more major PQ problem is hopefully fixed.
  2. Very strange! Did you try to see what are the caches placed between Feb 29 2010 - Feb 31 2010? Yes, 11 caches were placed between Feb 29, 2010 - Feb 31, 2010, when I click on them it shows up 11 caches that were placed today March 07, 2010!! BTW, I am running this with Windows Vista 64-bit and browsers Firefox version 3.6 and IE 8.0
  3. I haven't seen this mentioned before, if it has been then I am sorry. I will try to articulate the problem best I can. I noticed last month that when I did a PQ of Michigan placed caches by date. It would have problems if I accidentally selected more days than there actually are in a month. Previously the program would automatically correct to April 30 if I accidentally clicked April 31. It no longer does that. For example, when running a query for Feb 01, 2010 - Feb 28, 2010 it would show 446 caches placed Feb 01, 2010 - Feb 31, 2010 returns +500 caches placed Feb 01, 2010 - March 01, 2010 returns 461 caches placed I know this isn't a big problem and is easily worked around, just a heads up for future update.
  4. Me too. Happened on 'my finds' query. So I have to wait 7 days. I don't even run this very often but I cached in 6 new states and wanted to see the map light up.
  5. I don't know where in MI you are from but this may help. To make your first few caches easier you may want to try this bookmark list. http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.a...ff-1534a94f74c6
  6. Just my two cents... The downside would be that some people work every Saturday and that wouldn't be fair to them. I like it that our reviewers keep us guessing. You never know when, sometimes they are at 2 am.
  7. My two new ones that published this weekend at seperate times lasted more than 7 hours without a FTF, which is a long time in our area. I live about 45 minutes away. I wish they would have came after my new ones.
  8. Depends on what you like... Climbing trees?? Challenging multis??? Neat hikes??? A recent favorite of mine: GC1BQ74 (anything by the 2HH, they offer challenging, challenging multis If you in the area 8/23 check out 'age of discovery' GC1BXVK, the caches in that park are good ones too.
  9. When we first started caching my brothers and I would sign and log seperately. Well that didn't last long, my brothers are actually more interested in caching than logging. So since it is my GPSr and I am always present, I log the finds and those with me. I cache by myself and with many different people, so this is how it works for us.
  10. I just got my Legend Cx from Walmart.com for $200.00 (US) Check ebay. As a new cacher I wasn't happy with Legend b/c for one it came with a serial port adapter and I only have USB on my laptop. I returned it and got Legend Cx= I like Topo software cause I hike. I will be buying City Nav. soon. Linda
