  1. i was afraid of that ok thanks
  2. is there a way to erase a bugs history and start it over. thay are all my log's so it wouldn't bother anyone. i just don't whant to track my self anymore. http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=83937
  3. I would like to see log counts on "my cache page" in a diffrent format, so i would know when i reach a mile stone, like one of our local cachers just made 800. ex: found ### not found### and posted notes, maybe Groundspeak could look into this. 5. got you thinking did i,Jeremy? well my vote is in. Love many, trust few ,always paddle your own canoe.
  6. So you want to tell my 8 year old daughter that she can't send out a new TB "sully", (sorry too late,he left yesterday), after she has hiked to all but five of my logs, sat in the back seat on the drive to the areas, as me and Limpy sort through the cache, and then walk all the way back to the car? Now she is tracking the bug on line and haveing fun with it, which to her is the funnest part of the whole deal. She has also made a school project out of tracking the bug across country. Which in turn gets other kids and parents interested in the sport. What more could you ask for? Sounds like good advertisement for the sport to me and it gets her out doing things other than sitting infront of the television being a couch potato! If you would like to make some soft of an elite bug, item, whatnot, I think that would be a novel idea. Maybe you could limit how far he could travel in a week, how many caches he could visit in a given time-frame, you get the idea. But as for limiting how many travel bugs can be placed in one area, I think that is a bit unrealistic and unfair to those that have paid the money for the TB's. My particular neighborhood is saturated with Volkswagon Bugs at the moment. I don't particularly care for them, but I don't think my neighborhood would accept a limitation on what kind of car they could buy or drive. It's just unrealistic. 7. OK i know i was in the right spot, so i will just leave it as not found, as i didn't fill out the log in that cache, thanks for the reply's Love many, trust few ,always paddle your own canoe.
  8. If i go looking for a cache, that looks to be a good cache, as per the logs, and I can't find it, then come home to log it as not found, and watch it on line, to see if someone else finds it, then after several unsuccessfull posts it is arcived, is it *geo correct* to remove it frome my not found list. The cache in question is GCD690. Love many, trust few ,always paddle your own canoe.
  9. Oh boy, looks like I may have started an arguement here. Looks like everyone has a different and viable oppinion on this one. Personally, I would not log a bug as "found" if I could not move it or help it on it's way. But on the other hand, if it did not have instructions to where it needed to go and I found that I could not help it, I would put it back where I found it....With the exception to Alex the Alligator TB. It had a bit of an attitude towards Geo Cachers that were not from Seattle. I looked into this particular TB and have found that I was not the only one offended by the instruction tags; this may be why he has made it just about everywhere except for where he wants to go. Lol Back to the subject, thank you for your replies. I was curious to what the purpose was behind the "out and in" of a TB in the same cache. Eveyone have fun, cache till you drop! 10. is this a common thig to do? Love many, trust few ,always paddle your own canoe.
  11. OK i know i am new to all of this, but could someone explane to me, why you would take a tb out of a cache and put it back in, on the same day as per tb log, the one i have seen this happen to is, the "Brainbug" that i placed in GCG08G ????????? Love many, trust few ,always paddle your own canoe.
  12. Is there a way to see who is watching. Love many, trust few ,always paddle your own canoe.
  13. Going down the Green River in August, was wondering if any bugs want to hitch a ride. If so, send them to GCFB7F with note attached so they won't wander off. (could leave them on the Green River, Bow Knot bend cache, or in a Moab cache, or they could just make the trip and come back to Salt Lake. Soooo many possibilities!) found in gcfo7f a hitchhiker #42 (also #52 written in pen) which number is correct? not attached but did find a geo token dated from September 2002, no number on it. Need some info on what to do with these. Have looked on geocaching site and cannot find anything on them...still looking. [This message was edited by C-4 on April 15, 2003 at 02:20 PM.]
