  2. For those of you not going to the Methow Cache Machine and are looking for something to do on Sept. 17th, think about joining us for a hike to Monte Cristo. It is a long (8 miles round trip) but easy (not much elevation gain, good trails) hike up to one of the oldest caches in the state, Monte Cristo, placed Nov. 19th 2000. If you are working on the Washington History Challenge and you need this cache, what better way to get it, than with a bunch of other crazy geocachers. Check out the cache page: Lets go to Monte Cristo GC32PR3 We are planning on taking our time to get up to the ghost town, grabbing some lunch, and exploring this old town. After recuperating, we will stroll on back to our vehicles. We already have people planning on bicycling up and others hiking. A Northwest Forest Pass is required for parking at the trail head. Hope you can make it. Terrible Ts
  3. I've got another one coming up on September 17, 2011. Lets go to Monte Cristo GC32PR3 Please add it to the calendar. Thanks Terrible Ts

  5. Sorry for the short notice, but we are planning a Paddle Day 2011 event based on Shaggy, Scooby, and Velma's Paddle Day event last year. We will be meeting at the UW Waterfront Activities Center at 10:00 am, on Aug 28, 2011, 3900 Montlake Blvd. N.E. Come rain or shine. If you have a rowboat/canoe/kayak/raft/inner tube bring it, or you can rent a canoe or rowboat from the Waterfront Activities Center for $10 hour. Go here for all the details: Paddle Day! 2011 http://coord.info/GC31VAK We are hoping for nice weather, but we will take what we get. I hope you can join us. Terrible Ts

  7. The air of your ways, 64 to 1 odds and The Outlet Mall are two great caches on the CO's private property, up here in Washington State. The air of your ways, 64 to 1 odds: This is me and my son getting our 1000th find at The air of you ways, 64 to 1 odds. The picture does not due it justice. There are 6 toggle switches and two buttons. You need to figure the proper switch placement then hit the buttons. If you get it right the combo for the lock on the ammo can appears. If not, you get a (surprise). And yes it was raining, but we had a blast. The Outlet Mall: This is a picture of the the Outlet Mall. Each little white panel is a standard two outlet plug. You need to plug in all the power cords into the proper outlets, and green LEDS will light up with the combo to the lock on the ammo can. We did this one for our 1500th milestone. Top and bottom outlets are different. So you have 96 outlet to choose from and 10 power cords. Lots of fun. Terrible Ts
  8. What cache is this? GC number please. That look like fun. Terrible Ts
  9. I have been wanting the calendar on Google calendar for a while now. When i saw the Yahoo link go away, I went ahead and set up my own calendar. One nice thing about GCalendar is you can import someone else's calendar into your own by using the Add a friend's calendar option. It also supports Ical for the Mac people and XML for the "reader" (i.e. Google Reader) type people. If you want to take over the PNWGeoCalendar gmail account I will send you the password. Try this Link I grabbed a point out by Richland and drew a 500 mile circle, which you can see at this link. I then generated a Pocket Query for all Events within the circle. This is the write up I started: Geocaching Event calendar for the PWN (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, part of Wyoming and part of British Columbia) If use use Google Calendar you can import this calendar onto your own by using: Google Calendars-> Add -> Add a friend's calendar pnwgeocalendar@gmail.com Other ways to see the calendar info: Html: https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=pnwgeocalendar%40gmail.com&ctz=America/Los_Angeles ICal https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/pnwgeocalendar%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics XML: https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/pnwgeocalendar%40gmail.com/public/basic Terrible Ts

  22. I am having the same problem with Firefox 3.6.4, Windows XP sp3, GPSMAP 60csx. I checked the plugin and it can see my GPS. I used Mapsource to download some maps and it could see and write to the GPS. I t works in Chrome, so it appears that something either in Firefox or the way the plugin interacts with Firefox is messed up. I know it used to work, but I am not sure of an exact date. Is anyone else have a problem? Does anyone have any ideas to try? Thanks Terrible Ts
