The "red circles" shows only the spot of Traditional caches. Multi, Puzzles and others where the published coordinates are not the place where the caches really are, wont show all the stages on the map. After choosing a "free area", you can send your cache to revision... and the reviewer will alert if there is any stage of a cache nearby.

I presume that you are talking about Virtual caches (with a ghost icon). Normally you need to comply with some requirements described on the cache listing and send the answers to the owner, before you can log it as Found. Meanwhile you can log a Note, that you will change after the owner's authorization.

I am not sure what a projection is in this context and how I am suposed to do it. The first waypoint is N 48° 40.475 E 002° 08.902. Could you explain me what to do? Thanks in advance! When you reach those coordinates (1st waypoint), you must use a compass, find North (0°/360°), after that find 348° (must be NW), and walk 475 meters on that same direction... use the compass to adjust from time to time, or if you need to contour any obstacle. Or, you can do this same calculation on GoogleEarth, by instance.

Naturalmente essa não é a forma correta de proceder. Primeiro, as "vacation caches" são desaconselhadas, exceto se forem Eventos ou eventualmente Earthcaches, por não carecerem de manutenção à priori. Segundo, este seu pedido é uma tentativa óbvia de contornar as guidelines que exigem que cada owner estabeleça um bom planeamento de manutenção para cada nova cache colocada. Como a homenagem ao herói latino-americano já existe, pela presença do monumento, o essencial parece estar alcançado.
