I got the cable and tried EasyGPS and it worked great! Maybe later, with a better GPSR I'll try other software. I can see this is going to make things a whole lot easier. Thanks so much!

I have found that it is very helpful to read other logs, any hints and take a couple of people, so you have a few looking. Also, look for anything that looks out of place.

Thanks for the info. The etrex I have is the basic yellow one. Do I need to get software to download the coordinates?

Hi, I'm pretty new to geocaching and have a garmin etrex gpsr. I'm getting tired of punching in all the coordinates, so I was wondering what type of cable to get to download them and if I need software to go with it. Thanks.
