My dad and I were out caching, looking for a multicache several miles from where we live. Once we got to the place, we realized that we had come about 20 minutes too late, as the memorial garden where the first clue rested was closed. We had only planned to get that one cache, as it was late, but fortunately I had prepared 2 more caches nearby.
The first one was a simple park and grab, but the second was probably the most interesting cache-box we had ever seen. (The walk through the barely tamed woods wasn't very interesting.)
When we got there, it was just sticking out of a pile of sticks, so we hardly needed the GPS to locate it. As we opened the box, our jaws dropped. Inside were at least 40 little film canisters! The cache had said something about the cache being easy to find but hard to log, but we never expected something like this! Only one of the film canisters had the log, the rest had a little piece of paper in it.
Fortunately, after opening only 10 canisters, we found the real log. But, this is a cache we will likely never forget!
