  1. Caches that have been archived are not removed from your "found" list. Perhaps you logged a cache as "found" more than once, and the cache owner deleted the extra log? You should receive an email if that happened. Do you log your finds using a phone? B. No emails showing any deletions. I use my phone in the field but I use the website and another program on my computer to sometimes fill in my logs better. Maybe it is worh printing out my total finds to have a list to compare too? It's not a huge deal it just seems odd. Thanks!
  2. How do I tell what cache was removed from my total count? I was doing my think out in the woods the other day and made it up to 139. I found 3 more thinking my total would be 142 but today its showing 141. Do caches that get archived remove from your total? I attempted to use the search function but all it did was squirrel me away from my original search. I suppose there is no way to show once logged but deleted caches? I just want to figure out if I made a mistake logging, something got erased or what so I can maybe correct it in the future or know that caches are just not disappearing! Thanks in advance!
  3. Heyo! I saw a stamp log in a cache the other day that was a simple rectangle with the team name, and a ___/___ /___ for writing in the date fast. Does anyone have experience with a reliable one? I don't want to spend 20 bucks on some of the ones I have found on google. I am okay spending some money if I will get a better result. I know some say it takes away from the log but its just mean to sign simple logs, if the cache has space for a story or more writing I will do it by hand anyways. Just wanted to see what people thought or have been doing. A search of the forums did not show to much but I may have used the wrong combo of words. Thanks in advance!
  4. No that makes sense, I just find it so odd that I can't see them at all from a specified distance. We will know in the morning if it worked or not! Thanks for the reply!
  5. Hello! I have been messing around with my new Garmin 600 to get it working for geocaching. I downloaded an app for mac called iCaching and it worked at first and I could send right to my GPS. Now it seems to be no more. Even if I download the PQ from Groundspeak and place the .GPX file directly on my gps it only seems to want to show up as a waypoint. Nothing shows up in the geocache app even with all filters removed. Is it because I am not close to the geocache locations I added? I am in texas on work while I added caches for home near chicago. I am a little stumped and all the FAQ's I have read just got me more lost. Appreciate the help!
  6. If only I had searched harder. Thanks for the info, appreciate the help!
  7. Hello there, new to the world of Geocaching. I travel a lot for work so I have been logging some caches that are not near home. Is there a way to create a pocket query that will find all of my found caches within say, 2000 miles? Or do I have to create a network of Queries to cover 500 mile chunks of the states? The only reason I want to do this is so that I can import my find to my GPS a lot easier as I tend to log most of them on my phone but use my GPS to get there. Thanks for the help!
