  1. I am not familiar with the term DR, but I have solved puzzles that use various manipulations of words to get coordinates. Things to consider - in your example - would you be expected deduce a single digit from the word CACHE? If so, then you would need to do additional operations on your sum of "20" to yield a single digit, or find another way to convert words into numbers (sometimes length of word, sometimes using just one of the letters (first, last, some sequence (first or the first clue, second for the second, etc.)). Look for patterns that might fit with some of the coordinates you know. You could ask the cache owner what DR means (it would seem from your question, that is not the significant part of the puzzle), or look at more surrounding puzzles to see how it is used locally. I was able to see some info on the page of a cache close to the unknown you have already found that gives spells out what DR stands for, as well as giving a link to a tool that will help. To help find just unknowns, there is a link on each cache page under the hints section that lets you find nearby caches of this type.
  2. The numbers in the last picture jumped out at me quickly. I could not see numbers in the other images upon scanning them. If this is rated a difficulty three, I think it would probably be about right - might take an hour or so, or more likely for me, a few visits to the cache page to find the answer.
  3. I'll send you a separate message, but we are interested. Depends on date....., but we've been wanting to do this one, too.
  4. I am trying to create a new cache and the "Start Cache Submission Process" button (and when I type the address into my browser http://www.geocaching.com/hide/createcache.aspx ) takes me to geocaching.com home page instead. The older version http://www.geocaching.com/hide/report.aspx still works for me.
  5. I bought what looks to be the same unit from Amazon (my review is currently the first one on the page). Note also that there are two identical 5* reviews propping up the ratings. The unit I received is definitely NOT water tight (there is even a small drain type hole in the bottom of the cavity. I haven't put it out yet - am developing an idea - but I was a little disappointed at the quality. Will be OK if you can do frequent maintenance and/or select a place to put it that is somewhat sheltered from the elements.
