  1. I’d submit that nothing you do on the service side should cause the app to CRASH. So regardless there is also an app bug. For example I should be able to use the app in offline mode with an offline list regardless of the status of any “underlying services” and right now you cannot.
  2. Same thing. Logged out of app (which never happens). Log in. Fail. Log in works. Load caches. Crash. Restart app. Log in fail. Log in fail. Log in works. Load some caches. Click on one. Crash. Repeat.
  3. I hope it is only gone temporarily from the website. I *loved* seeing unfound puzzles showing on the map at the corrected coords. Critically important feature! Made it really easy to see which puzzles you have solved in an area and which you have not. I am fine with them moving back to posted coords on the map once found (to preserve geo-art).
  4. Of course in the end, I couldn't have a non-functional app so I uninstalled and re-installed and after re-logging in, it works fine. Naturally my offline lists that I had saved are totally gone (removed when deleting the app). Having to uninstall the app to take an update properly is ridiculous. Amateur hour. I'll just recreate my offline lists now. Oh, and I'm also back in newbie mode. A mystery cache is not located at the posted coords. Make it stop. This app needs either an expert mode where all that handholding and babysitting goes away or it could just infer that from your cache finds. If you have over 5000 finds you probably don't ever need to know what a letterbox or a virtual cache is.
  5. Just updated to 5.2 10 minutes ago after getting back from a day of caching. Now when I launch the app, it goes to the splash screen and stays there for about 15 seconds (long time) and then crashes, returning to the home screen. This is repeatable even after rebooting the phone. This means the app is completely unusable to me and I cannot geocache using my phone until this is fixed. I don't really want to try uninstalling the app and re-installing it for fear of losing waypoints or other data saved in the app. And of course, I shouldn't have to do that to fix an update. Not sure what is causing the problem but at the moment it is a catastrophic bug for me.
  6. I upload custom HTML stats on my geocaching.com profile page. Back in December a change was made that set border-spacing: 0px and border-collapse: collapse, I believe in the normalize.css file. There was a fix posted here and other places that said simply add the following after the <body> tag of your imported HTML: <style type="text/css"> table { border-collapse: separate; border-spacing: 1px; } </style> And this indeed totally fixed the problem. But yesterday I updated my stats, probably the first time since the last release, and the same problem is back, no margins in my tables. It seems this style information is being ignored again :-(. If I manually change the values in normalize.css inside the Chrome Developer tools from collapse to separate and from border-spacing 0px to 1px, it fixes the problem. So why is the profile page ignoring this style information now? Is there something I can do on my side to get my stats page looking right again?
