I have also heard that they where talking about turning off the WAAS on the sats because of the war. I just got a new GPSr today and it seems to be working so far. But maybe this had something to do with it???

Thanks Ya'll. I did find my first cache yesterday. Had a blast. Thanks again for all your input on what types of GPS units to get. caltrop I have used Ebay before. The hardest part is knowing what each model is worth. heh

I kinda fell apon this website while entering a wheresgeorge? doller on there website. When I did a search for caches around my area I found out there was a cache just down the street from me. I don't even have a GPS unit yet. So I was wondering if anyone had one laying around that you need to get rid of and to help out a new geocacher? I am not asking for a free one. But, maybe a cheap used one? Once I get some money saved up, I will make sure I get a nice Unit. I will surly have fun once I get going.
