When I recieved my Plat. it had Ver.3.1 I think, it was 3.something anyway. I played with it a couple of days or a week. Everything seemed ok, what do I know, it's my first GPS. I then upgraded to V4.06.To make a long story short, I had to re-calibrate the compass.

I'm new to this GPS stuff, did my own comparison and chose the Mag. Mer. Plat. because of the SD card memory. I can't believe someone else hasn't mentioned that yet.Friends have a Garmin E-Trex & Garmin 72, both loose signal in trees, my Platnium hasn't yet.

I got ahold of TB owner, one way or another we will get this Bug on it's way. Thanks for the help.

I found "Go Bucks" TB and planned on moving it on it's journey but it's not activated.E-mailed owner Through cacher who left it, no response, what do I do? It has been 5 days.

I'm going on a trip in a couple of weeks and plan to "collect" 3-5 Bugs before I go. Is this OK or encouraged?
