  1. Hi, I am going crazy looking for (any) software for Nokia E52. Geocaching Live seems not to be available for Symbian, and CacheMe / BikeAtor are not suitable for this particular mobile model. I would much appreciate if you could give me any clue on this. Thanks in advance.
  2. Cualquier macro de estadísticas te muestra los kms. recorridos sin tener que hacer nada. Por ejemplo FindStatsGen, la más difundida.
  3. (Bread crumbs under the 0 key mode=off) I meant eTrex 10/20/30.
  4. Thanks, amigos. No, I did not asked Garmin support. This is because there are much more expertise out there and especially in a forum of heavy users like this one. Furthermore, it's not the first time I try to get help with a gadget and found at the other side of the line too many questions and too little knowledge. On the other hand, since I already made some tests the answers to this could be nice to know for other geocachers. I use a legal copy of GSAK and am aware about it helps a great deal to upload to the GPSr the most updated info; my question is more theoretical than practical though and raised to my mind after a change coordinates log. Has any of you made similar tests in eTrex 1/2/3, Oregon and alikes?
  5. Mmm...maybe you did not understand me because english is not my mother tonge. The question, put simply might be: If there are two GPX in the GPX folder with one common cache and some fields of that particular cache are different (i.e. last 5 logs or coordinates, or hint added)...which one is shown on the GPS? In my tests, seems that the data shown is from the GPX file that is older (meaning older not the date/time inside the XML code of the GPX but the GPX file date/time as seen in your PC with right button->properties), but I have no scientific evidence.
  6. Will I be the only one wondering this little and maybe stupid question?
  7. I use just one PQ and one GPX file in my eTrex 20. Now I am trying to use two PQ and two GPX of to close areas. Some of the caches are in the two GPX and I am trying to understand how does the GPSr work in this case. I have ben making tests and it *seems* that when a geocache is in both GPX the version showed in the screen is the one belonging to the oldest GPX file. Anyone can confirm that this is correct in all cases?
  8. No creo que nadie ponga cachés para que no los encuentren otros. Pero sí para que sean difíciles. No veo problema siempre que la dificultad en el listing es acorde a la real. Respecto a ciertos pecados...el que esté libre que tire la primera piedra.
  9. I fully agree to this post. +1 2.40 also fixed my device.
  10. It's a good workaround, not really useful for intenive GCing though...
  11. It changes the track log color. I really hate that pink line, not for the color itself but for being indistinguishable.
  12. Thanks. I have just upgrade firmware, let's see if this has been fixed.
  13. I am enjoying a brand new eTrex 20 unit and am really, really happy with it. I am so happy that that there is just one thing I would like to change, that is...the pink line that points to the destination when navigating in the map view (don't know the exact name of this line, could be goto line, bearing line or whatever line, but I am sure that pink line is enough to describe it). I recall and still know how to change it in eTrex HCx series, though I could not find it in this new model. Anyone sharing this problem or knowing how to fix this? Thanks!
  14. That simple. I would like to buy a 2nd hand unit of eTrex Legend HCx or Vista HCx. I do not care about scratches or other aesthetical issues, though I would pay accordingly. Should you have an offer, please send me an PM via this forum.
  15. Since yesterday my eTrex Hcx, shows GPS SW version 0.00, thus not acquiring satellites signals. When trying to install the GPS SW via WebUpdater (M2 chipset), the GPS is detected and the update starts. When reaching 13% the update stops and a pop-up window warns about (translation from spanish WebUpdater): 1- The Interface option is set up to Garmin or host mode. 2- The cable is connected to the right port. 3- The Garmin device is turned on. Tried to downgrade to earlier firmware versions from 3.20, even tried 2.30, but WebUpdater first updates the unit software, then the GPSW. Any experience/hint on this problem? Your help is much appreciated.
  16. I am suffering the same issue. And may 5th is way behind and this is still happening, at least in my case.
  17. Thanks for your opinions. I still do not understand what's the real reason lying behind, and the existence of PM caches timestamp which I didn't know adds more confusion about it. Privacy...that's ridiculous. Everyone can see that I visited a cache but not that I am watching a cache.
  18. We have the new Favorites feature, that allows to see the cachers favouring a particular cache. This is very similar to the watchlist feature, that leads me to wonder if Groundspeak is willing to change its point of view about allowing to see the cache watchers, or even plans to develop it. Are you aware of any news on this? What's your opinion about the ressemblance of both?
