  1. I missed out on the Apple watch version 1 app. In fact, I missed the first and second apple watches and have their #3 now. I totally agree with what others are saying about looking at the watch instead of continually looking at and having the phone screen on. I bet that was sweet before it was removed! I suggest like others are saying... Just keep it simple... An arrow and a vibration when you're close. Cerberus1, The app will never be "bug free", it's constantly being changed to "improve" it. Just like every other app in the world... Things get "fixed" that weren't broke and those "fixes" cause other breaks.
  2. Which is the very reason that I stopped by the forums today! Never have I seen people 'attend' an event before it has even been had and yet twice now, in my one event that I expect 20 people to show up, they have chosen 'Attended'. I let one person know about it and just realized that another has done the same thing. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...1c-8d8c6ac298db Now I see why. What I came to suggest today was that the 'Attended' not be available until the day of the event but maybe it could be fixed with what n6uzs is suggesting. On another note, and I'm afraid to say after reading about 'Trolls-r-us'...it stinks. I'm not a computer junkie but when I use my mouse to scroll down the 'Hide & Seek' a cache page, the screen messes with my eyes. The width of the text and/or page size fluctuates as if its on a diet then off a diet. When logging a cache, I scroll down to the 'Submit' button using the wheel on my mouse and I have to navigate around the 'Trackables' box because there is a dead spot there and it quits scrolling (Can't wait to drop that trackable in a cache somewhere). XP Pro IE8 Plain Jane, two button mouse with a scroller between them
  3. Well that took some time but at least they are gonners now! Thanks for the "How to".
  4. Wouldn't it be neat if there were little boxes that you could throw checkmarks into then click "Delete" at the bottom of the list. That would be to simple. While we are at it, we could add those same boxes to the Pocket Querry lists and "Delete" at the bottom.
  5. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On 30-Dec-05 at 09:34:02 GMT, seller added the following information: Due to the negative line of questioning from some, i have decided to withdraw these items from the auction. As these items are of no use to me, i shall be dropping them into the nearest bin. I can of course for a price give you the gps for my local waste disposal site. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, so what become of them? Did everyone make the seller so mad that they got thrown away? Did someone buy them outside of ebay?
  6. Friendly suggestion here........This is what I do when I'm traveling: I stay at hotels/motels/inns that have a computer in the lobby that's free for guests to use. Another something I've heard other people do is that they just find a library and use one of those computers. I've also came across notes in the cache log books that were left by folks who are traveling and need extra time to log them. At any rate, I try to log all my TB activity before I go to bed wether I'm traveling or not. I realize that this is not possible in all instances.
  7. Jeremy, I did read through those posts and some additional posts that pertained to the total mileage but your quote: "The Travel bug distance calculation has changed. There will be a few days before the distance calculations update correctly so please be patient." doesn't address the mileage from cache to cache... If you meant by this statement that the mileage moved from cache to cache would magically appear at a later date then that answers the question; however, to redirect us back to that quote still didn't answer the question. So, I take it by your post that all is well in "total mileage" as well as seeing the mileage the TB moved from cache to cache? AH! Ditto! Word for word!
  8. I guess it's up to you but honesty is usually the best policy. Read the past logs on the cache listing page that goes with the cache you found the bug in. There may be clues there as to who left it. If there aren't any clues there and if the cache isn't far from your home, go back to it and check the paper logs. There could be a clue there. Read the last log on the travel bug listing page (the TB that is showing in the cache). It may be theirs. My guess is that the cacher had a brand new TB in their mojo bag and inadvertenly grabbed it instead of the TB that's showing up in the cache. If all resources are exhausted and after sometime has passed if know one has claimed it............
  9. Sounds to me like Wal-Mart doesn't want us there. And ya know what? That's just fine with me! Wal-Mart stores are not a good thing anyway. No sir, they are like a huge vaccum just sucking away. Wanna know what it is they are sucking, well I'm gonna tell ya!!!!! THE MONEY RIGHT OUT OF YOUR COMMUNITY!!!!! Because of them many ma and pa stores are gone! Once they have pushed out all the competitors than they up their prices while claiming to be rolling back prices!!! Boycot them all!!!!! And for pete's sakes don't let them into your town. Fight against it by attending the public hearings.
