  1. sorry yinnie. I'm more lookin at the Garmin CSx60. But thank you anyway. No problem, great unit, but remember no maps and no paperless caching. The price is OBO. Thanks
  2. Maps from Topo that comes with it and yes you can load coords and PQ's from GC.com. Thanks
  3. There is no code. Use basecamp or mapsource, pick out the areas you want and seng to GPS. Thanks
  4. If you add them to favorites will they show on the screen? And at what level? Thanks
  5. Anyone hear of anything new in the way of new handhelds from any manufacturer?
  6. So no matter what you have your veiw set up you will see the caches? I like to drive and if I see one coming up to go to it and then use my handheld for the find. Thanks
  7. I do have GSAK, but will they show up on the screen? Thanks
  8. Is there anyway to load caches on this and have the show while driving? Thanks
  9. Mine will be here Saturday, how long do you have to upgrade your maps? Thanks
  10. The Geocaching app from here is a nice app. It is $10 but I think it was worth it. I also have a Desire and love it. Thanks
  11. Go with a RAM mount. I have the window mount for sale and all you need to do is buy the cradle from GPScity. Thanks
  12. Delorme comes with street routing and the Garmins you have to buy it. I would look at something with a 3-axis compass. GPScity has the Garmin Dakota on sale for $199 and it is a great little unit, but you need to buy the road routing maps for it. Thanks
  13. For me it would be a \Delorme PN-60. Great unit and battery life. A little cheaper is the PN-40 but battery life is not so good. Tha Garmin Dakota is a very nice unit and on sale at GPScity for $199. Gloves might be an issue. Thanks
  14. I have one of these and also a bicycle Ram mount and a Delorme PN cradle. Will sell separate or as one. Make some offers. Thanks
  15. Open your PQ and drag it to your GPX file on the Nuvi. It is set up for paperless.
  16. You were right, $79 Amazon. I'd gloat about being right, except I'm too depressed to do so. And they stopped offering post-order price matching too. I went on the online chat and got a $10 coupon on my next order. I was going to order another and return the first till they said they would do this for me.
  17. For online deal, Amazon has it for $89, and they throw in the case for free. That was the deal that pushed me off the fence. Of course, if my luck with purchases hold true, you should expect the price to plunge any time now You were right, $79 Amazon.
  18. What is wrong with the 450t units Thanks There are free maps out there that are just as good. Thanks
  19. Well, sort of I guess Actually it does answer the OP's question quite nicely "best paperless caching GPS to buy on a budget". This little 295W is a sweetheart cheap deal, & tons of potential! I think Yinnie's lives in Canada.. Grab one for $89.97 at TigerDirect.ca! http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/Sea...p;Sku=G145-0376 I think this gadget has so much potential because it's actually a re-tasked smartphone that Garmin threw a Nuvi label on. It's powered by Android and has a 600MHz processor. All for under $100,, new! Hey you other 295W owners.. can you tell me if yours ever speaks street names? Mine hasn't yet I am about 30 mile southeast of Green Bay. Thanks
  20. Me too. This little device is lots of fun, and very useful as well. I especially like the "auto" setting in text entry areas which allow you to choose the word or url the artificial intel thought you were typing. Already saved me lots of typing. I just placed my order for one, it will work great with my Delormes. Thanks
