That would be great. We are looking forward to it. -
Hi (I'm one of the danish guys visiting you in march-april) I've noticed that no many of your caches has been rated with GcVote. I use it a lot I think it is a great tool for using less time at the computer and spending more time and finding better caches. If you dont know it, you can read more about it here: GcVote

Some are arriving that day and getting their rental cars. Some are attending Event: Spring Pizza Fling II (Vels). Some are going to see L.A. Kings - Dallas stars. Besides those nothing specific has been planned. -

We would love to hear from some of you and maybe even meet some on the way. -
I have a mystery-cache in a library. It is of course hidden on one of the shelves in the library.

To me it still seems odd that Garmin releases so many gps unit with Wherigo capabilities and Groundspeak does so little to give the users a useable builder. I hope your work "bears fruit" as we say here in Denmark.
-
How can the builder not have been updated since: 5/29/2008? That seems as if the whole Wherigo idea have been abandoned by Groundspeak...

I have a tree climbing cache at 12,5 meters. Højt til vejrs.

ups. Double post.

I wasnt thinking about any specifik tools, but merely more choices to choose from, since I dont think the ones that we have now covers the need. And I do think people will give away the type of tool needed. I dont think the fun lies in making people come to see what kind of tool is needed and then having to come back later bringing the tool. I think the fun in that kind of caches lies in giving people the good experience of not just finding ordinary plastic containers in the forest. For starters, we could have an icon saying that special tool is needed. I also need a nightcache attrib, which is not in my term the same as flashlight required
-
Hi. I think we need an attribute about "special equipment needed" not just a boat or snorkle. Can we get that please?
-
I like this way of solving the problem. I hope it will work soon. I hate it when people dont want to try new stuff because they see hypothetical issues. I like believing in the good in people, but hey, maybe Im just naive.

I agree with all of you in your specific points. But it doesnt say anything against having the possibility to rate it. If you make standard containers as everybody else, rate it average. But if you, like me, spend a lot of time making special caches so the container itself complements the special place it is hidden, you would like the opportunity to be able to find other special caches too. I didnt say you would have to make give-aways for the cache, so it is easy to find... If you only see problems, then why even bother...

I dont see any reason to choose not to implement a feature just because it could have that effect in rare cases. If that was the case maybe a comment could be required. I just think the whole idea of stuff not being changed, because someone can think of one bad thing, instead of seing all the posibilities, is wrong.

I would like too if there was a place to discuss the better caches. Not hidden away in a thread somewhere. But I dont like the idea of it being for paying members only. I would love it if new cachers started off with good inspiration for their first caches. Jesper - Denmark

But still, it would be nice to have gc.com implement a better multi-cacher tool. I dont like having to use all sorts of add-on software. I would be much better if the right solution is where the data is - gc.com. Jesper - Denmark

Feature Request: Add option to include/exclude user in PQ
jesperqvist replied to Zop's topic in Website
I would just like to say that I like this suggestion. I dont think that the solution via GSAK matters, because this is a gc.com forum. And following up on the above makes me think... Does anyone know anything about V2 dates or stuff that will be different with that? GC.com have anything to say on that? Jesper - Denmark -
Sorry. Forgot to enable email notification.

I would just like to say that I agree. I like finding special cache containers and rating the container could be implicit in your suggestion. I hope it will be accepted and will work soon. Jesper - Denmark

Hi I would like to suggest the opportunity to rate the caches I have found when I log them as found. This would give the opportunity to sort caches from other finders experiences and I would like that. I hope you like the idea too. Jesper - Denmark

Hi I would like it if the cache owners would have to rate their own cache containers when registering the cache. I dont really like going to an old icecream box full of water, but I love finding caches the the owner has spend some time making. I think this rating could make the difference between going to bad and good caches. At least give some more information than just cache size. I hope you like the idea too... Jesper - Denmark
