  1. Yeah! Swing by and pick me up I'm jealous, hope you have a great trip!
  2. I just wanted to add another voice of encouragement! Situations like these make me sick, please do everything in your power to make them pay for what they did! Looking forward to more updates, Crystal
  3. Ya know, when I find myself snapping via email to other cachers in my area... I know I've been reading the forums to much! So in turn... I don't visit as often So, I know what you mean! Crystal
  4. Dogs are really angels in disguise Here are my two! Jasmin our new Bull Mastiff puppy And Abby my lap dog Crystal
  5. Personally, I have no problem with nudity... but as a parent this is my first concern also. Thank you for saying it. Children need and do better with proper preparation for any change. Especially for something they have never seen or done before. My 2 cents worth... Crystal
  6. Hey, I goofed up! How do I fix it? Crystal
  7. Just wanted to say that I feel your pain I had to put my beloved childhood pup down and it was the hardest thing I did. It still makes me cry just to think about it and this was a little over 4 years ago. Crunchie will always hold a special place in your heat, just treasure the time you do have together. My thoughts are will you and your little guy. Crystal
  8. I normally don't write in the forums that often, but I had to chim in here. We have a cache just like that, lots of pulley's connected to a homemade container of PVC about the length of your arm. It was a lot of fun watching my husband place the cache It's about 25 feet off the ground and even custom camo painted to some 550 cord. It worked really well and everyone that has gone to it has really enjoyed it So i say go for it! Crystal
  9. My first response to that is.... my husband and I have lots of common interests, but when I'm pissed at him and in the peak of anger all I have to do is look at him and I can't help but think, I can't leave or be pissed... he's to dadgum cute! Crystal
  10. everytime you pass fence posts you have to see if the top comes off... Crystal
  11. I've actually trained my dog to sniff out ammo can.... Okay... not really. But that would be cool, wouldn't it? Crystal
  12. I don't know about all that... For me, a cache isn't about what type of pricey goodies I can pick up, it's about the location. Where your bringing me in the first place and why its cool or important. As far as I'm considered, the cache swag is a bonus to help convince my 3 year old she likes to go caching So the McCrap is good for us! Crystal
  13. Shhh.... don't tell my husband.... but I plan family vacations and weekend adventures based around caches I want to complete After suggesting the location...I casually mention there are some geocaches around and maybe we can check them out. If he knew how many places we've gone only because there was a cache there, he'd suggest therapy Crystal
  14. Awesome pictures! I love photography myself. Some of the best I've seen. I really enjoyed the your Butterfly pictures. Thanks for sharing Crystal
  15. I really enjoy the caches that include pictures. Makes me want to go and actually see it for myself. I like doing the html too. Helps me learn something new. Here are a couple of my own caches. Abby's Cache Brown Canyon Ranch I never thought about those that print the cache pages. I print them too and have only ran into a couple where it made it difficult. Crystal
  16. Lol! Thanks for the laugh It's great to be able to laugh at yourself Crystal
  17. I've been almost caught quite a few times.... I even once did my business not to far from a cache... the cache got muggled... and then the owners replaced the cache in the exact spot I releaved myself:) Now what's really cool? My daughter just turned three and has no problem going outside what so ever. Daddy is her potty Just the other day she was telling someone how you only go in the potty or on the grass! It was to funny! Crystal
  18. Congratulations! We'll be trying in a couple of months for number two
  19. Okay, I'm a little late in replying to this... but geez! Thanks for the laugh... I about peed my pants!!!! Crystal
  20. Pros: Nice family time together, get to see some great places I'd probably never go otherwise, seeing my two year olds face light up when we find the "treasure". Cons: The only thing I can think of is the fact that it's on my mind almost every wakeing moment! I'm at work... supposed to be working... but I'm fantasizing about finding that specific geocache... Crystal
  21. Not saying that this is the answer to any of these instances... but I've known a park ranger who really disliked them and would take them. He would check the site for any new caches in his district then nab them... He said he tried to nab one of ours but it was hidden so well he couldn't find it. He had nabbed two others recently, so we archived ours. I don't think he works in our area anymore, for new caches have been placed there and are doing great. But it's always a possilbility...
  22. Seems a good place to introduce myself I work on a military installation and there is a geocache located on the post. Our commander was concerned about safety, liabilities, etc. So, as with most small tasks they get delegated, then delegated again. Somehow it reached my inbox and I checked it out. We already had a gps that my husband insisted upon buying a couple of years ago, that had been siting in a drawer, so we checked it out. Needless to say we've been hooked ever since Crystal of Trekin Triad
