Hi, We travel about 6 months of the year in our RV and geocache wherever we are. My question may be a little off topic, but we would like to have any information folks have relative to "Boobdocking" sites to park our RV in their area. GPS coordinates would be great! We are presently in Texas and will be in NM, AZ, UT, CO, and NV in the next 6 months. Thanks, Bill

Good Morning, I have a Etrex Venture, DeLorme Deluxe Street Atlas, and a Garmin interface cord. However, I can't get the PC and the GPS to talk to each other. The PC seems to "know" when the GPS is attached but the Street Atlas says"no GPS info". Is this GPS unit and software compatible? Is anyone using this combination for GPS tracking while driving a specified map route? Any help will be appreciated. The software literature refers me to the GPS literature which refers me back to the GPS literature. Which port, 1 or 3? Baud rate? ETC !!!! Bill

Hi, we bought a Garmin Venture about a year ago and it seems to work fine EXCEPT when you get close to your destination waypoint the needle will point all kinds of directions. Sometimes when 2-3 miles out the needle points the correct direction but the floating "needle body line" doesn't line up with the head and tail of the needle. We can only find caches by walking in a direction where the distance decreases. Even that seems "iffy" at times. Thought maybe the battery was a bit low but not sure. Anybody else experiencing this?
