I had a simulare problem a while ago. Customer support said to delete all traces of any and all Garmin software restart the computer. It worked. When he said all he ment all. Do a search and find all the files that have any Mapsource and Garmin files attatched to it.

I'm running Mapsource ver 6.13.7. If I upgrade to City Navigator 2010 it will install a later version of Mapsource. Can I reinstall ver 6.13.7?

Well that sucks. I've heard too many horror stories about Mapsource after ver.6.13.7. $80 bucks for nothing.

After installing 24K Topo for the SW. Should there be a new choice in the drop down box in Mapsource on my computer for just 24k Topo? If so, it's not there.

When I bought my Nuvi 750 it came with CN 2008 and I was able to put that software on my desktop and laptop. When I did the free upgrade to 2009 it only downloaded to my laptop. Is there a way i can put the CN 2009 on my desk top with out ordering a disk?

I'm looking at picking up a Nuvi 760. I can get a good price on it. It is new with a warranty but with CN 2008 map in it. Can I upgrade to 2009 NT without cost?

Someone wrote on this forum that the waypoints on th 700 series don't show up until you're within 300'. Is that true for the 260 series as well?

Forgive the simple questions but I've new to car GPS's. I familure with off road GPS's since my first Garmin 3 plus. I'm looking at either the Nuvi 260w or 750. Both the same price. The question is, if I set my destination and I don't like the rout Garmin provides can I alter it by putting in my own waypoints? For example if the unit comes up with a rout to turn onto a road that I don't want to travel can I change the route?

The 700 series supports multi-destination routing. With the 200 series, all you can set is a destination and one via point. So what your saying, the 260 will only allow me to put in one destination and the 760 I can put in multiple stops at the begining of my trip?

Can someone explain the diffrence between the Nuvi 260 and 760 as it relates to 1. Auto sort multiple destinations (provides most direct route) 760 yes 260 no 2. Routes: 10 on the 760 zero on the 260

By changing to landscape all that happens is that it enlargers the image vs increasing the area printed.

Is there a way to print out whole page of a Mapsource map? Not bigger as in larger font to fill in the page but double the amount of information. Right now it prints out a full screen shot on 1/2 a page. I want just the opposite, fill the paper but double the screen shot. I make a hard copy of the area I ride in and it is a pain the butt to cut and tape all those pages together.
