Wonder what would happen if you adopt a cache which you had previously added as a favourite???

Big thanks to all involved in the upkeep of this cache and stats etc :D :D MaxKim

Thanks I think this may be the issue, it would appear it is the Yorkshire caches not showing, I have just travelled down to Cambridge and the icons are showing here. Cheers Max

Hi there, I have stopped getting icons to show on the map of my 450, they were working until my last download on Sunday. It's only the ones from a downloaded GPX file, any I create myself appear fine. Also is it possible to make the downloaded GPX file display as the treasure chest icon rather than the tiny green default ones. The maps I am running are the UK 50:000 ones from Garmin. Cheers Mark

Do a PQ of your own caches, load it into GSAK, run the AddLogs macro and the info should become apparent. Thanks.... :)

Is there a way of finding out which of your caches has the most hits? Max

any update??? bump

Noooo..!!!!!!! To some users, nanos already have an accurate category. They're micros. Don't for one minute assume every cacher wants nanos to have a separate size - any more than any other container. Why does everything have to be dumbed down to the lowest common denominator just because some people can't (or won't) read guidelines?? But it would make a very easy way to ignore them.

We have been following these caches... but we will just add them to our ignore list if you don't want cachers to find them... Regards MaxKim.

A TB with out the tag can i make a copy?
maxkim replied to Geobuzzbee's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
We have several tagless bugs out there, it works for us using the print info choice from the menu on the bugs home page. Then add the tracking number and laminating it. We also add a bit of the chain.... there's always loads left when you first release a bug. -
Thats a ***DING*** there then...

Thanks for that, our cache has now been added to *mouse*'s UK Chirp bookmark list which is a giveaway if ever there was one... Cheers MaxKim.

Is it right to set a puzzle cache, then be told you have to post an attribute which will give the answer to part of the puzzle?? It seems strange to us ie Chirp caches or UV caches.

I have a new 450 and it is great except for the tiny cache icons on the map, they just don't stand out enough. Having been used to the Memory Map ones for years on my PDA with no problems. Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it when searching. Cheers Max

Just to help out what is the name of the puzzle cache here?

What to do if cache coordinates are wrong?
maxkim replied to jammie*dodger's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
By "recalibrated my GPS" I'm assuming you mean recalibrating the electronic compass. If you're doing that, then I'm assuming that you go geocaching with the compass turned on... Turn it OFF, you'll find the GPSr readings are much more stable and don't jump around so much. Can you do that on an Etrex???? asks hopefully???? -
Advice on doing some extreme UK caches please
maxkim replied to Geocass&Andy750x's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
Always best to team up with another cacher / climber who will help / share gear and get you safely going. Or join a local climbing club and again get a taste and proper help. Hope you enjoy them, they are great fun. Cheers Max
