  1. My complaint may be a minor one but I feel compelled to mention it anyway, just in case it might do some good: WHY did you have to make the gallery so hard to find? The link has been moved and it's tiny compared to the way it used to be. Please put it back up next to the "logged visits" and make the link big again.
  2. And when are we expecting v2? I don't even know what it is, so your answer didn't help me. (I'm not being sarcastic; I really want to know.)
  3. I'd like to follow a cacher doing a long and involved multi, like the Grail Quest series in Indiana. That would be a nice way for the disabled to get to enjoy them vicariously.
  4. I like the new maps, but I hate the fact that there's no way to see where the archived caches used to be. Or is there, and I just haven't figured it out yet? That's the only thing I preferred about the old maps.
  5. I think the most difficult cache I've ever done is GCMWWH: The Holy Grail (Final). It was definitely one of the most interesting. Of course, you have to find five other caches before you get to this one, starting here.
  6. Hey, guess what! Mysteries Inc got off their collective duffs this afternoon and did one of the new "Fall Into Geocaching" caches. It was the one at Spring Mill (naturally) -- I would recommend it; it was in a very cache-worthy spot IMO. I'm surprised there hadn't been a cache placed there already.
  7. But most of the parks chosen for this contest are in the north. I counted only seven that were south of Indianapolis (plus one actually in Indy). That should leave fourteen in the northern half of the state. I did the one in Spring Mill this afternoon and it was in a really nice spot -- I'm surprised no one had put a cache there already (back before the new guidelines, that is. . .)
  8. Thanks! I'll do that! Still open to suggestions from others, also. . .
  9. We're planning a short trip to Port Huron in May. We'll only be there a couple days, so I'm looking for suggestions as to which caches to do while we are there. We like scenic spots and places with something interesting to look at. We would like to get a few over in Canada also, so if anyone has any suggestions for neat caches over there, they would be appreciated. (This is an example of what I mean by interesting.) We would also welcome suggestions of other things to do in the area besides caching! Thanks, Mysteries Inc (Shaggy, Daphne & Scooby)
  10. And for those of you who don't celebrate any of those: Have a great week-end & "Cache on!"
  11. Aha! I spotted the problem: GCQZTC is on the Isle of Man, GCQZTX is in Indiana. . . Hey, it's just one space away on the keyboard.
  12. I'm glad I'm not the only one who does crazy things with their vehicle and then has to be rescued! I thought it was just because I was a silly female -- what's everyone else's excuse? *Daphne* P.S. Love your new avatar, Deermark!
  13. Nice photo Deermark! I wondered who's it was when I stole it to put on the Frappr! map page. . . I would've used the IndiGO logo, but it wasn't up on the the website yet. BTW, I was wondering if anyone would ever say anything about my theivery, but I know Deermark is too nice to do anything like that. *Daphne* P.S. I added a shoutout to at least give Deermark credit for the photo. I'm not all bad. . .
  14. Deermark: It's been moved since you were there and should be much easier now, although I'm not sure if Lumberjack Tom would agree. HeHe. He wanted me to give a better hint, but since 4harbos thought it was easy, I think I'll leave it as is. . . Of course, it's probably also much easier to find in the daytime!!! *Daphne*
  15. I got a nice e-mail yesterday. There are some new cachers in the Corydon area (4harbos) and they wrote to tell me that they had done one cache so far and it was one of mine. I noticed today that they have done six more, including my White Cloud cache that everyone has had so much trouble with! Way to go, 4harbos!!!
  16. Take a moment to add yourself to the map! Frappr! - Geocaching IndiGO
  17. Hello everyone! Just a quick introduction before I get down to my real business: Mysteries Inc consists of my husband (Shaggy), our son (Scooby) and yours truly (no Freds or Velmas planned for the future!). We live in south central Indiana (Orleans). We have a couple cats and a dog, whose caching name will be Scooby-Too (if he ever gets to go caching). Now for the important stuff: I have a travel bug that's in a special race and needs to get to St. Patrick, OH. St. Patrick is (according to Mapquest), 48 miles/1 hour north of Dayton and 84 miles/2 hours (slightly north)east of Muncie (or 69 miles/2¼ hours, if you go through Winchester, IN). She will probably need to have her photo taken to prove she was there. I really, really wanted to take her over there myself, but Shaggy wasn't too keen on that idea, even before gas prices went way up. Is anyone going to be at the Fall IN-GEO picnic in Madison next week-end who might be headed over to west central Ohio in the near future (maybe to place some more ISQ-OC caches )? If you want to give this bug a hand, we will be camping on site #101 at Clifty Falls next Friday and Saturday nights. We will be at the picnic Saturday, at least in the morning and evening. Here's what we look like: (This was taken when we first started caching, but they look pretty much the same.) (This is a recent photo, but I've gotten a perm since then.) Thanks! *Daphne* Mysteries Inc P.S. I've enjoyed reading about the ISQ caches in this thread -- I'm looking forward to doing some now that they are starting to creep south.
  18. We live in Orange County (south central Indiana). Gas was $3.29 here in Orleans yesterday (at 3:30pm -- at 11:30am it was still only $2.79, a 50¢ jump in just 4 hours!). On the bright side, it went back down to $3.18 this evening. When my husband went to fill up, they said they dropped the price because no one was buying any gas. On the other hand. . . My SIL manages a gas station in Paoli and their delivery truck only filled their tank halfway today. They may start rationing tomorrow. And a station in Bedford (in the next county north of us) was out of gas yesterday. It was in the paper this afternoon.

  20. HiHo Cheerios is in Montana with PINK PARADISE RACER, but PPR is much closer to the interstate and will probably get moving again a little quicker (and go farther). *Daphne* Mysteries Inc.
  21. Oh yeah, I was gonna cache along the way -- that goes without saying! I've got 10 caches left in the Morgan's Raid series and I could finish that up, plus pick up several others, too. Now if I can just get Shaggy to co-sign on that loan I might need to pay for the gas. . . *Daphne* Mysteries Inc.
  22. Our coins arrived today -- Jinkies, are they cool! Thank you so much! *Daphne* Mysteries Inc.
