  1. Thanks for all the replies. Larry
  2. Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has heard whether there was going to be one. Last year they came out in June. Thanks, Larry
  3. Ok, I ran that md5 fille on the installer and it has a green circle on the left. but when I try to install it the installer can not be verified. Well I will be deployed on a ship here in a few days so I will not be using my GPs for a few months. THanks for all your help. Larry
  4. I'm getting very tempted to completely abandon this installer and use my own (I've got one already for the Canadian Topo Maps... I just have to adapt it to work with these). Ok well I THINK I will wait. I tried it again and still got the same error. Thanks for your help. Larry Did you check the MD5 sum? I'd really like to know for my own benefit if this is a problem with the installer or the download. If its a problem with the installer, then it doesn't matter how many times you download the file. If its a problem with the download, a 'good' download will eventually install properly (not that I expect you'll want to keep downloading it over and over again). Here is a link to a windows MD5 Summer (I can give you directions on how to use it if you like) http://www.md5summer.org/ Dale I downloaded both the installer here at work on t-1 line so I did nto have to worry about the wireless connection and I also downloaded the MD5 file. I will try the installer thoffof my jump drive and also the installer. I will reply with the results later tonight. Larry

  6. OK I have no Idea what I am doing wrong. I have downloaded the new file over night then tried to install it but the installer said it could not be verified so I deleted it and spent the last two hours downloading it again. Still no luck same error. The file size is 554mb (581,588,992bytes) is this correct? It gives me a NSIS_error for more information nsis.sf.net/nsis_error Any help would be great. Thanks, Larry
  7. Hi, I use shrinky dinks. It costs about $6.00 for a packet of 8 sheets. my sig swag starts out a little bigger then a silver dollar and shrinks down to less then an inch. I can put them in 90% of the caches. the fit in caches samll as a pill bottle. You can make them in any shape. I use a jeep outline on mine. Stink them in a oven heated to 325 degrees for about 3 minutes and you are done. I think I can fit 10 per sheet. Good luck, Larry
  8. I ran into the same thing here. I ran it for zip code 94949. I did it with some restrictions like "I do not own" or already found and came up with 2 that were archived. I ran it with out any restrictions and it came up with a bunch of caches for seattle. BTW 94949 is the zip code for Novato CALIFORNIA Larry
  9. HI, I am sorry to say but I think you are asking to much. If you go to amazon.com they have the same thing for 129.99 Looks like a cool GPS compared to my Magellan 315 though. Good luck, Larry
