  5. We were sat watching TV nice and cozy, when around 10:30pm we got the notification of a new cache. "Dragons Lair" We debated the do we or don't we.The difficulty level and hints suggested this may not be an easy cache to do at night. We are suckers!!!! We grabbed the kids and headed out fully prepared to have to attempt this again in the daylight. The first two stages went great, no difficulties here and we were really liking this multi. Even thought the second stage was a really tricky find, we lucked out because we were using a flashlight and it helped us spot it. Figuring that since the final was 'bigger' in size that we had this one in the bag. Boy were we WRONG. We headed into the woods and went to GZ. There were a lot of hiding spots! So by flashlight we all looked. The kids stayed nice and close as it was about midnight by now! We found one spot that looked like a 'lair', so we pulled and moved and dismantled the bush to not find it. Eventually we just had to give up, the kids were tired, and we were tired! Early the next morning we went back, and hunted in the early light for another long while, still not being able to find it. After another hour or so of looking we went home and emailed the owners. They emailed us back and told us they would meet us there. So back we went to look for it for a third time. Once the owners arrived they saw where we were looking they then realised they were off a bit... We walked about 30m further up the trail, over the hill and down the other side where they stopped! From there, we found it in about 1 minute! Arrghhh! But all's well that ends well

  13. It has been not long since I started this thing. The pull has been strong since I've been geocaching. The first one I found Was in a tree, I had looked all around with hesitancy. I saw a green cache in the crook in a the tree and went with a dash with my son to go see. We opened the lid and looked on inside a pencil and log book our eyes opened wide. We signed our first log We took our first toy We hid from the dogs and the girls and the boys. We snuck from the tree and onto the trail Hoping no-one would see Hoping we would not fail. For the short hunting time That we had looked It provided the sign We were definately hooked. A year down the road with over 900 caches Our caching hasn't slowed as we look for the stashes. towards the 1000 Our finds they do hurtle The one thing that's left Is to own TSUN's turtle. Thanks.
  14. A cointest I see at the end of my day. My heart filled with glee as I sat down to play. I sit and I think what would TSun like coins that go chink a bird or a bike. It is very quiet sat here on my own no tv no sound no email no phone I hope for the wails a new coin may bring when I open the mail that says Hey you win. With absolutely no shame and a whole lot of fun I think I can claim that this poem is done.

  21. I had this happen, not once, not twice, but three times! I added the set at 8pm, there were 50 left. I went to add another sword and then I had -47 at a price of $-1566 Then I refreshed, and they vanished. Went to readd - OOStock. Grumbled since they were in the cart. Went to add another single silver. Done. Went to add a gold... Silver is now -9 Gold is OK. Refresh, single is now gone gold is -something. Gold is now gone. So I went from having everything to nothing - I guess the cart means nothing for one, and to check out 3 times for 2! {sigh} Guess we'll do without
