Thanks for the input. I own a Magellen 300 and it has provided faithful service over the past three years an dstill works perfectly today. But it is limited and the Meridian looked like it had the best package for the price. Thanks again for the feedback. btw remind me not to ask such political questions in the future. Fraser Valley cachers are about to get another target. We have put together a three litre container filled with cool stuff, sunglasses, play-doh, a dvd, a blank cd-r, deck of cards, tire guage, a light up HP pen, padlock, wooden heads and more,plus the proverbial log book and pencils. Does any one know how to delete the links in the memory of this uint, I've lost the manual and I hardly used it until now and have put alot of BS links on i'd like to get rid of? Please help!

Yup all the way out to here. We just started on a trip to Victoria two weeks ago....looking back we probably could have found a lot more if we had the time....this is a very addictive pastime....we've already planned our days off for weeks to come. I've had a Magellan 300 for four years and have used it for little more than remembering good fishing spots....but this gives the two of us something to do together and its wicked cool to hunt treasure!!!! We are going to start leaving two screws plus a trade in all of our new finds so keep a eye out! If you are in Victoria check out the Sisters its a great hide!
