I used a Magellen 300 for the first while during my caching life, eventho it only went to two decimal places it got me to 95% of my targets!!!!

The wife and I are planning on a trip from Chilliwack BC to Edmonton AB at the end of August and are looking for suggestions for caches to look for along the way. I will hide a few more but my GPSr is a very old one and limited in its capabilities(two decimal point, no projecting); so they will be nice easy ones! They make four very powerful LED headlampsincluding one which also has a zenon bulb in it,all under 35 bucks!! I am a firefighter in RL and use two Pelicans on the job; Big ED and the SuperSabre Submersible 3C and every single guy in my hall has at least one. Most are explosion proof, waterproof, and rated for dangerous environment use! Trust me use can beat the snot out of these things and they NEVER fail! They are also guaranteed against shark and bear attack but not children under 5.....i'm serious it really says that on the pakaging. I cannot speak for Compaq support entirely, as Compaq and HP support for handhelds is still separate at this point. But I am an HP Jornada Service Rep, and HP definately stands behind their products. Try next day Fedex replacement in warranty for most units! HP offers a full one year warranty for hardware and tech support as well. Palm offers a 90 day warranty. $39.99 to even talk to them after that! And let me know what you have to say about Dell support if you ever need to call them (hahaha). If I ever need to call Dell I immediately ask for a supervisor, as not to waste time. Sorry you had a bad experience with your Ipaq, it is sometimes difficult with a third party accessory like a card! I am surprised about the pixel problem as well, HP support would have replaced that asap, no questions asked.
