Unfortunatly when the site is slow on busy weekend, reviewing caches becomes almost impossible. We typically have to wait until the server load is a bit lighter. I don't doubt that, seeing as how I often have to wait until the weekend is over to log caches. Didn't mean that as a jab at reviewers in any way.

Looks like I'm going to have 5 permits for fellow geocachers. Just waiting on one last person to confirm. Only three free weekends to go before the climb!

Reading Criminal's log it sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. I'm bummed I couldn't make it, especially since that because we DNF Mt. Ellinor I had a grand total of zero (0) finds this weekend.

I don't know if I can go up a third time without confirmation that it's there. Early is better, as it got awfully warm. I ran through 2 L of water and Chewie went through 1.5 L on a short 3 mile hike. He ran from shady spot to shady spot and even got in an argument with one dog over just who one particular shady spot belonged to.

My in-laws aren't coming on Sunday for sure. (Hooray! Whoops, did I say that out loud?) So it's 50-50 I'll be there, depending on a bunch of other things, like what the home boss has planned for me on Sunday, if anything. I might be there early and start up so I can reach the peak at the same time as those starting an hour later. If you see my car at the trailhead but not me. That's what happened. I'll be on FRS 02 in any case.

OK. I'm doing Mt. Ellinor on Saturday AM for sure. I'm leaving from the upper trailhead at 8 AM. I'm slow, so if anyone comes later they can catch up with me. I'll be on FRS 2. I'm not sure if I can do Townsend on Sunday, but if others are going that day I'll try to make it there, too.

That day's fine. In fact that day is great. I think Americans should always go do something they enjoy that day if only to demonstrate we won't be intimidated like the Spanish. I won't be able to come that day because that's the day I have permits for climbing Mt. St. Helens, but if you're going wild and late maybe I can swing by after.

I'll let you know in the AM Maiden. If I do go I'm going to hit the trail pretty early.
