  1. Glad you like the cache. When I start grad school in June, that's one of the few caches of mine I'm not going to retire.
  2. #1 is definitely Above the Clouds with nolenator, chubby forest monkey, Shunra, travisl, and some others - even though I went most of the way up by myself. Who knows when anyone will be able to do that cache again. Which reminds me, I need to post pictures on the cache page. #2 is the hike to Moonshine Madness and A Salute to Col Bob with Criminal, Curmudgeonly Gal, leatherman, and ironman114. Good hike on a crappy day with great company. My most dissapointing is my second hike up Mt. Ellinor for a DNF..
  3. Team Supergenius, have a DVD player? I still have it on TiVo and can whip out a DVD+R if you really want to see it.
  4. I'll keep an eye on this thread. You never know, I guess.
  5. Oh, man, I wish I had the time!!!
  6. Dang my house only cost 30 grand when it was built in 1981? If it was that cheap when I bought it, I could quit my job and do a lot more geocaching.
  7. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll keep an eye out for you RWW.
  8. I'm heading to Leavenworth tomorrow, it looks like. Any must dos there that anyone wants to recommend?
  9. Yeah, it had more to do with finding a cache that wasn't buried under 4 feet of snow. In the summer hiking and caching go hand-in-hand, I haven't found that the case in the winter in the mountains. I'm sure it can be done, I just haven't done it well.
  10. I've tried to mix snowshoeing with caching with no success. Let us know oif you do better.
  11. Woo-hoo! Just got mine today and was pleasantly surprised to find my dog Chewie (and my wife's leg) in July!
  12. Darn. We have birthing class that day... It makes me wonder how we got along for a hundred thousand of year without classes.
  13. And here I thought you might mention Mt. Ellinor. No. That is not to be spoken of.
  14. Do I DNF? That's a question best presented to some evil penguins.
  15. Looking at that puzzle, it seems to me there are errors that can be introduced at certain points. Maybe GG is worried that 50 feet off of BL's coords are not 50 feet off of coords solved by others. Just shooting into the dark here....
  16. This doesn't work here, Bugel, because it is a puzzle cache. Posting the coords would really make her mad if she doesn't like what he already posted.
  17. Not to say you're wrong, but why not just change the log if the owner doesn't like it? It looks like people are finding it now before you posted your hint. You have the find, the owner's happy, everyone wins.

    Apology

Be careful... Words and misdeeds have a way of coming back and biting you in the a** when you least expect it. I tried to be subtle about it when niskibum did it, but it seems the mistake is self-perpetuating. I have a rule: Say what you mean, mean what you say. (Unless there is obvious sarcasm intended.) I don't have to worry about getting bit if I follow that. If you want to call people pathetic, fine, but don't expect me to think it's OK just because you offer a limp apology.

    Apology

Blah, blah, blah. Come to the forums and call people names like "pathetic" over the course of a day and then make it all better with a "sorry" a few days later? Doesn't work for me. Apology rejected as far as I'm concerened.
  20. Looks pretty sweet R&R. I thought I'd be able to make some coins next year.... then I saw what my daycare bill is going to be.
  21. The coffee place just across the pedestrian bridge from the ferry terminal in Seattle on the level of the bridge has free WiFi and even a few computers for customers that don't have a laptop. I can't remember the name of it. Top Cup or something like that. Edit: I suppose it would help to know what city I'm talking about.
  22. Nevermind. Misread some comments.
