It looks like a fairly good auto navigation unit, for the price. But it doesn't appear that there is any way to enter coordinates into the unit. If that's true, it would be useless for geocaching. No, I cannot enter lat/long coordinates. useless? Maybe not entirely, it does tell me, within a foot, where I am at the moment by lat/Long. Which is a start.

I just bought this, in fact, just bought it from Woot. It is NOT refurbished, it is brand new. It uses Navteq mapping software and even plays MP3's!!! WOOT! I'm new to geocaching, but my wife has done a few. She's the one who piqued my curiousity. When I saw this on Woot, I figured i'd surprise her. I sure did. She was mad....can you say dropkick? Thankfully, it was still in it's box, and it still works! We'll be doing a few of these Nothern PA cache's and get back to you on how functional it is for this particular endeavor. If anyone has any feedback or experience with the Whistler's please let us in on your knowledge!
