  1. Someone signed one of my cache's log books after almost peeing upon it. I suppose that's the chance you take hiding stuff in shrubbery out of sight of surrounding homes. At least he saw the cache first.
  2. Whenever I read the word "peanut" my hands swell up and I can no longer typsnfjaenrioehrklzdnfklzsdnklfxklcvnkl
  3. If the good Lord didn't want us opening dangerous things, He wouldn't have given us fingers. Or toes. Or lips.
  4. green, blue, orange and pink? How very festive!
  5. It's funny you point out Florida. We just returned from a trip to the keys annd were amazed how few P&G micros were there. Most caches seemed to require at least a short walk off the road along a beach to an area you wouldn't see if not for geocaching. Ammo cans were popular along with large tupperware-type containers. The geocaching experience just reinforced my idea that the Keys really are a paradise.
  6. What's a "nalgen bottle". Perhaps i need some.
  7. Of course you could always waymark it under the "Giant Religious Tableaus" category on Waymarking.com. Just a thought.
  8. If that don't strike fear into the hearts of terrorists everywhere, I don't know what will.
  9. Whenever I feel the need the need to twitter while caching, I try to find an inconspicuous bush.
  10. The Phileas Fogg Adventure Society found some of my caches last week. Gotta love that.

  14. Another local cacher uses WITCH (why is this cache here?)
  15. Yahoo has a free service called babelfish that works OK. I think any computerized translation will be a bit amusing though, so have fun.
  16. "Twichers"? Is that some sort of South Africa type word?
  17. We had Father's Day on Saturday and I got to pick our day's activities. After a few hours floating in the surf, we headed south to an area between us and Myrtle Beach that we'd never seen. Cherry Grove, it was called, and it was beautiful. We had bit of a hard time picking a dinner spot, sso our caching time ran low. We ended up finding a cache at the entrance to a trail across an undeveloped island. We were so excited about exploring our new "find" that we neglected to check the GPSr and walked right by three more caches withoput knowing they were there. Oh well, an excuse to go back.
  18. I love this geocaching thing. Browse a forum and find the answer to a question totally unrelated to the hobby. So, if my folks take our son (8) across into Niagra Falls, they'll need a certified birth certificate and a notarized letter from Mum and Dad? I think we can handle that. Thanks to everyone!!1
  19. Oak Island, NC 5- 26 10- 54 25- 248 50- 600 Of course beyond 3/4 of a mile south of me is the Deep Blue Sea. Kinda limits density a tad.
  20. Congrats! We just got a nuvi 200 a few weeks ago and love it. All the "bells anbd whistles" on the other models looked silly to me. This unit does all you need it to do. Plus, you can download a file from Garmins vehicles sectioon and all of a sudden you're in the Black Pearl. Too cool.
  21. Anything that keeps snakes away is fine by me. Do they make a deodorant by any chance?
  22. That was great! Any one want to guess how long it takes for a poster to complain that a dead log was thrown and that that is why geocaches aren't allowed in some state parks? I love seeing kids having fun.
  23. Sorry, but the cache owner is 100 percent right. It's game, the guys out in the middle of Darkest Africa, and worst that happens to anyone is they have to spend some time out of doors.
  24. "OOOOHHHHMMMMMM" thanks for the Moment O' Zen
