  1. 10K sounds a little on the high side. Is it smoged? Does in go stratght when you let go of the steering wheel? The old leaf spring Jeeps tend to ride rough. I had a 1966 CJ5, it was alot of fun on the trail, but it sucked to drive on the freeway.
  2. Does anyone have the coords for Campland on the bay, at Mission Bay?
  3. Im just putting the idea out there. Im up for a day trip or an overnighter. I know its strating to warm up put there.
  4. Im the rookie here, I will leave it up to you where you think this thread should be.
  5. Has anyone explored the Arroyo Tapiado Mud Caves? I have taken the Bandits out there a few times we had a blast exploring the caves. I was thinking of getting a group together for a day of exploring. Here are coords. There are a lot of caches out there. N 32 55.630 W 116 11.706
  6. Welcome! You've just joined the most incredible family. There's always fun group events happening, so keep your eyes on the forums. I'm a fellow Geo-Jeeper, so I'll let you know when we head out to do either. I'm in the process of installing new fenders, so I'm itching to try them out! Robyn of Team Reid Are Geo-Toyoters allowed to come along??? Of course all are welcome.

  8. The way I see it, Fattboy could have been trying to do a rear axle articulation check, you know you have to flex the sway bars or they will go stiff on you. Maybe he was just polishing his rear U joint.
  9. Thank you for the welcome, I will keep my eyes open for more trips.
  10. Sounds like fun. How often do you guys do desert trips?
  11. Hey Welcome!!!!! You guys truly are cache Bandits!!! And great ones at that!!! You have only been caching a few weeks and you already scammed an FTF on an unlisted cache!!! Soooo every one else knows what I am talking about.... My wife and I hid a cache (in Julian) on Sunday (while staying in a B&. On our way out of Julian, on Tuesday, we stopped by the new (unlisted) cache to drop off a better log... when I puled out the old log...it had "The Glamis Bandits!" on it dated Sunday the 15th. Now I am wondering if they are watching me or if they have supper powers Regardless You guys rock and I look forward to the rest of the story We saw you standing next the cache holding up your GPS when we drove by. We where on our way down the hill to another cache. On our back we stopped to investigate the area, guess what we found. I tried to log it in but I couldnt remember the name of the cache. I did get couple of pictures of the Bandits holding the cache.
