I will be in the NO area for the next week (Mon-Sat). Is the Meet still a go? Did I miss it? I look forward to chatting with any and all LA geocachers. Also, does anyone in the southern LA area have a Garmin RINO? I will have mine set on channel 2 if anyone would like to try the Positioning feature out. Hello everyone, I am a new here. I am in the Sierra Vista, AZ area visiting for the new two weeks. I have hiked Garden Canyon and a few areas in Patagonia and can't wait to find some loca geocaches. My question is: Do you use preplanned routes via your GPS or do you simply follow the trail or a paper map when findung remote GeoCaches? I have the Rino 120 and love it...it works great for me. The weird shape in the back fits nice in the palm of my hand. However, I haven't been able to link up with another local Rino user to test thr P-t-P. One thing that bothers me about it is that GArmin came up with a "new" plug. It is like the traditional 4 pin round style, howevr only about half the size....so I cannot connect it to my iPaq PDA yet. still trying to get a custom cable made... all in all it is great NewBe1 Kristoffer J Buquet NewBe1@dcwifi.net
