Ahhhhh, I wondered what those letters were meaning. I wasn't seeing anything right off the bat. Your info helps a lot. Sounds like maybe the Vista might do the trick for me. And it's a little less expensive than the 60 and 76 units. I want to do some geocaching, as well as be able to use the unit in the car. Amazon.com had some very positive customer reviews on both the units you mentioned (and some good prices, $215 for the Vista). This may work quite well for my first unit. Thanks for the help.

I am ready to buy my first GPS. I've been doing my homework, but I'm not sure I truly know what exactly I should be looking for. I found a Garmin GPSMAP 60CS on Ebay in my price range. But it's a discontinued unit. Would it be a mistake buying something that is discontinued (and refurbished)? Should I bite the bullet and spend a bit more for a newer unit with more features? Any other units that you would suggest?? Thanks.
