  1. Just wanted to update that the animation stops when using eneloop as well. It took a few uses and now the animation stops when fully charged. Maybe it has to adjust to the batteries or something
  2. I've tried both charger and a port with same result
  3. hmmm, thanks. wonder why mine doesnt. That is with non garmin batteries as well?
  4. When charging eneloops in Garmin with button pressed down, does it ever stop charging? I’ve had mine plugged in for 12 hours and it still shows charging, although batteries show full if I take them out and put in smart charger.
  5. I have the 64st newest software loaded, running eneloop pro 2550 batteries with a plastic piece covering button. Does it ever stop charging? I can pull the batteries out and put in a smart charger and they say full, but when charging via cable in garmin I get a constant charging symbol (battery with lightning bolt and bars going from 1-4.) I'm afraid there is no stop point and batts will explode? Anyone know if it stops? thanks
  6. Camelbak Leatherman Lighter Pen and pencil GPSr Spare batteries Cell Phone Ziplock deet hat extra shirt
  7. This idea is still alive, I know there are more cachers out there
  8. I tried both browsers and get "We currently support only Garmin™ GPS units" on both and when i go to test site i get plugin not activated. I have Firefox2 and Ie7, latest Garmin plugin and software and firmware and it is detected correctly in device manager. *******EDIT********** I GOT IT TO WORK IN BOTH BROWSERS!! 1. Download latest Garmin Communicator Plugin and SAVE it to your computer. (InstallGarminCommunicatorPlugin_2103Beta.exe) 2. Plug in your GPS and make sure computer sees it. 3. Close all programs, browsers, etc (yes even email) 4. Run the Plug in. Don't go to the test website as it still doesn't work 5. Now open your browser of choice and go to geocaching.com and choose a cache. 6. Click the "Send to GPS" link and you will get a popup that says "We currently support only Garmin™ GPS units". Click in the little window and press CTRL + F5 . This forces a full reload of the window. It should now look like this and work : Worked in both IE7 and Firefox 2.0.0.3
  9. Come on locals, is anyone up for a potluck on the refuge in June or July?
  10. I know there are a ton of cachers in the SW OK area and would like to throw around the idea of having a get together to throw around some ideas for maybe forming a club. I'm thinking sometime after memorial day, perhaps at a park or restaurant like golden coral or something that can accommodate a lot of people and a lot of talking. Please reply here if you are interested. Thanks, RedJeepGuy

  14. I bought an external floppy drive from them about a year ago. Best price I could find, quick shipping. This doesn't address a GPS issue, but for what it's worth...... I just bought a 60csx, memory card, carrying case and auto navigation kit from them. I RMA'd my memory card only because i found it cheaper at amazon and they gave me an RMA number the next day. Very pleased with them.
