I too use the list as stated by Dunmowin. What I don't understand is what hzoi is referring to. I guess we will have to wait and see what Geocaching.com does or says about it.
-
I also found that if I log out and log back in sometimes it works. I guess I will just wait and see what happens in the future. Not getting to many response here but maybe no one knows.

After searching an area and picking several caches to find I create a list and give it a name. But when I go back to view the lists I created I only get the green circle running in circles. If I click on see old version I can see my lists and can view them. Any ideas would be nice.

I created a list of caches I want and give it a name. When I go to my list it does not populate or display but if I go to the old page it is there. I just get a green circle spinning. I must be missing something or something is turned off. Help if possible Thanks

After some testing I tried the [send to my GPS] on the cache page and now I get the GC***** as stated earlier. I guess I will have to upload them differntly. Maybe someone has a better idea No do not want to use PQ at this time sorry. Thanks Stilta49

Yes, I deleted all history visits when I was done last time. Yes, I tried turning of the date limit check box. NO, I do not see a GC ****** first this is what I see .. The Quar,2013-07-16T02:14Z,Found it ... in the file in the GPS. I guess I will need to try a different way of loading them in the GPS. What I do now is click on the GPX file and down load it and save a group of caches in an area and save them under the area name using EasyGPS and then send them to the GPS. I hope this makes sense all works except for comments being able to upload for logging. Stiltz49

I am back with a new question about the feild notes and downloading them. I know how to browse and find the right file and unload but none appear. I can go into the garmin folder on the gps and open the txt file and they are there. I tried on 2 different computers so I don't think is a setup issue. Another thing is it has work in the passed. But it onlyu showed 3 out of 6. This time none. Help maybe? Thanks in advance. Stiltz49

Nelamvr6, Like stated before I click on 'find' then select geocaches and hit enter then select a cache and then hit 'enter' to go then hit 'page' to navigate the menu until 'caches' shows and when it opens I have my choices of several thing incluiding hints. I hope this makes sense because I went thru it step by step as I typed. I hope someone will correct this if I am wrong. To add to this mess I wish Garmin or someone would have information how this side of the GPSMAP 60S functions...

First off I want to thank everyone for the responses and ideas. It was my fault because I am new to this new Garmin and like redwoodkestrel said earlier is correct. After doing some more messing and learning the unit I figured out how to get the hints... THANK YOU STILTZ49

There I fixed the PM statis. I have clicked on GPX file link on the page and saved it and a few more and then sent package to GPS, and I have used the Send to my GPS and like stated above and I always get everything except the Hint. Thanks again anymore ideas. Thanks Stiltz49

Yes, I am a new PM. Yes I started out with a clean new GPS. Yes, I removed a all GPX files on GPS and resent again. All I get are the name, terrain, difficulty, description and logs NO hints. I must be missing something.

I got a new GPSMAP62S and am trying to download caches and go paperless. I can send them to the GPS from each cache. All the data shows except the hint. I tried sending directly from each cache page and also saved as a GPX file and sending that to the GPS. They both seem to work the same except no hints. No, I have not learned or tried the pocket Quarry thing. I am trying to stay away from that at this time. Thanks in advance for any advise. Stitlz49

I did some research myself. I looked at the OR 300, 400t the COL 300, 400t the 60csx and the TREXhcx. I think I will stay with either the 60 or the E-TREX because o features and size. I don't anyone of these would be a bad choice. Thanks Again for the input...

I have a Nuvi 750 for the car. I need one for hiking and cache hunts. I will look into the Colorado and Oregon. Any suggestion of either that might be similar to the above mentioned.

I now have a etrex vista had it for 2 yrs. It has done me good until yesterday but garmin support got me thru that. My question I have narrrowed it down to the eTrex Vista HCX or the GPSMAP 60CSX. I don't see much difference. I do a little cacheing and little mt. driving. I do have the Topo map. Any suggestions or opinions would be nice. Money is not a issue as much as a good unit to get me in and out and find that hard to get to cache... Thanks Stiltz49
