I'm new to geocaching. Just got a handheld GPS, still figuring it out. Would really like to find a buddy, more experienced than me to learn from. There are TONS of caches near me, been trying to find with my GPS. Guess I'm just not sure how to read it to know where to look.
I've added several caches as waypoints, and can follow up to a point. It's the nitty gritty of actually finding the place to look that corresponds to the coordinates.
I'm sure i'll pick it up with time, but would be so much better with a buddy!
