I am learning a lot, and I do agree that anyone with special needs probably should find out as much as they can about the terrain, especially if it is an area they are not familiar with. I do always have someone with me, but I can't speak for others. I don't have upper body strength to push myself anymore. Anyone in a chair who wants more of a challenge can decide for themselves.
You can give indications but No, you can't know who can do a certain terrain and who can't. The more information the better as far as I am concerned. And, I am glad to know what there is a degree of difficulty, and that some people might not be as aware of the parameters as others.
