  1. Hi there, trackable are like geocachers: they travel from cache to cache. But geocachers have a site in their profile where they can look through some statistics. Trackable not. I think it would be great for owners seeing more information about the route of their trackables - and interested other users too. I think, there could be the same statistic site like those for users. More detailed statistics could take it to the next level (also see: New function suggestion: more statistics). What do you think?
  2. hi there, in this Help-Post "micro" size has a subtype. Some caches so not have enough description to declare it as a nano. I wonder why "micro" has a subtype. "Nano"s are no subtype. Both micros and nanos have their own characterictic. I think a new size-typ would be pleasant. Maybe there a some chatters who love/hate nano-sized caches. They could directly include/exclude this size type without being confused by micros. What do you think?
  3. Hi there (again ?) , statistics ar interesting. the 81-Matrix in our profiles statistics give a good overview what kind of caches we log. Wouldn´t it be great when clicking on a number shows us the appropriate geocaches in a list? What do you think?
  4. Hi there, sometimes trackballs are listet on the website of a cache but in reality there is no trackable in it. I think it would be a better way to log that trackable as "not found" (like geocaches) then writing a note claiming it. What do you think?
  5. Hi there, some caches have a bad chosen D- or T-rating. Some finders log with the statement that the rating was not set correctly. Those complainings could be prevented by logs with a D/T-rating suggestion. Finders who think the rating was not set correctly could inform the owner instantly. The owner maybe corrects the rating by getting more then one D/T-rating suggestion. I think that would be more comfortable then reading the logs. food of thought: those suggested ratings could be presented on the geocaches site. What do you think?
  6. Hi there, the geocache sites deliver the right information - but maybe not in the right way. Today behind the geocaches name stands the count of favorites. The count of finds stands after the description of the cache. Could you post that number next to the count of favorites. Users could directly relativize the numbers and could see how often the cache was found since it was hidden (which is directly underneath). What do you think?
  7. Hi there! Some geocaches have detailed set attributes. Other only have a few and many geocaches have not even one attribute set. Some attributes are not helping or confuse the cacher. In this bad situation it would be great to give feedback directly to the owner. Maybe by giving an option in the logging menu. By sending the log, the cacher gets his smily and his log and the owner gets a notification to overthink the set attributes. If there many cachers who claim the same attribute, the owner could change it. Using the note-log is uncomfortable. Food for thought: showing those suggested attributes in the attribute box of the geocaches website. What do you think?
  8. Hi geocachers, i like statistics about geocaching. Reading statistics of other players is very interesting and forces me to get more. I actually use project-gc. Other statistic generators deliver nearly the same result. I wonder, why I have to use an other website then geocaching.com. Wouldn`t it be great to have right in your profile without using another website - sure everybody has the statistic site, but it the information level is not very high, so much interesting information are hidden. If someone doesn't want to share the information, the user can hide it. Maybe you can declare two statistic levels - one for premium with much information and one for regular users with information level like today. What do you think? PS: this post has a similar topic.
