  1. Latest update from The Caching Place: We started shipping The Caching Pill, Muggles Watching, and The Orient Express coins last Friday, and have been shipping ALL day today..... The Gold Lizards and ToadZ were delayed and are scheduled to ship from the factory on the 27th. Sorry for the delay!! Some things are out of our control We're getting them out as quickly as we can! Thanks for your patience everyone!!
  2. Got the shipping notice today!! All of the above mentioned coins are shipping from the factory tomorrow - hopefully we can begin shipping before the Christmas holiday, but more than likely we'll not get them all shipped until after Christmas! Merry Christmas everyone!! The Caching Place Team! That's some GREAT news! At least we're not waiting until mid January! Thanks for the update... You are very welcome! One more update as well...The first batch of The Orient Express coins are in this shipment as well. Because of the custom engraving, we waited a little longer than usual to place the order, wanted to get as many folks in the first batch as possible. The second batch won't be too far behind! Thanks again everyone for your support of The Orient Express game, we totally enjoyed watching everyone play....the suitcases were FUN....for us anyway! Watch for Quest IV sometime in the late spring!!! This one should prove to be the best yet!!

  7. Just a note to let folks know the LizardToadZ coin will begin shipping the first of the week. The shipment was suppose to arrive today but was held up due to the Typhoon! Should be here the first of the week and we'll get them out!! Thanks everyone!
  8. Awesome...please send us an invoice for this coin! Sure wish we could make this event! We've gotta make it back East to do some caches....I keep asking, when we get to retire, but I never get the right answer!! As a side note...count us in on one of those treasure map sets - can't go wrong on a pirate coin now eh? Have fun at the event! Mrs Cachu
  9. WoW - I lOVE IT!!! Very well done. I do stained glass work and these turned out so COOL. I'll be getting a couple for sure! Keep up the good work, your designs are always awesome! Mrs Cachu
  10. My Grandson Gage and I placed a Moun10Bike Pin in this cache : GCWTTQ Not only were we FTF this cache, but it was our first find together! I live in Utah and was out in MN for the birth of grandchild #2 (Kammie) This is such a small town that it might be awhile before someone ventures out to "Sleepy Eye" to find it. If you plan to go, take a small child with you that has never been caching before. Make it a "special" occasion and pick yourself up a very sought after pin! Mrs Cach-U-nut
  11. PM sent! Not to worry....we'll get you taken care of Mrs Cachunut!
  12. Just a note to let folks know that the inventory has now been updated and you are welcome to PURCHASE The coin and pin set is available for $10 set! Like the man said: We made it clear from the git-go Thanks for your support everyone!
  13. It's heart warming to know that the folks come together at a time like this to help fellow cachers out. Our thoughts are with LC and her family. And we'd like to thank those of you who are helping with the collections and auctions. Kudo's to Coin's & Pin's - very thoughtful of you guys to help out the family this way! Craig & I will put together a coin package and send it out right away. Wishing you the best LC! The Cach-u-nuts..
  14. You are correct that the FGA (Florida Geocaching Association) coin sold out today! These coins are shipping to us on March 4th - we will have them in hand March 6th and will begin shipping right away!! While the sale did happen before we had the coins 'in-hand" it's not like it's going to be a month or more before folks get the coins! Is two weeks really a problem....just curious!
  15. Please use this corrected LINK http://www.thecachingplace.com/shop/pc/vie...23&idproduct=61
  16. Thanks Team Pez - this is a GREAT idea!! I love American Idol - I'll send some coins just as soon as you send me the address!! ~ Mrs Cach-U-Nuts
  17. Awesome Job Jake!! We'll be linking it from The Caching Place if that's alright... Very good information, thanks for the time spent in putting this together!! Now tell me....when are you going to make that AZ coin
  18. Ours prayers go out to the family, what a tragic loss. Craig and I will be sending a variety of coins as our donation. Thanks Mark for organizing this for the family. Georgia & Craig The Cachunuts.
  19. If this has already been covered then please point me in the right direction I've got some questions about event coins and wanted to get some opinions. Is it proper to sell event coins to the masses as a preorder sale - or should event coins just be offerd at the actual event, with any left over coins offered afterwards to the general public? Wouldn't an event coin have more trading appeal if it were 'only' available to purchase at the event? And is that important to folks? Should event coins be trackable? Is there a general rule of thumb as far as "how many" coins should be made for events? Obviously it depends on the event... a small group event vs an annual state event - Just wondering how the geocoin addicts feel about this topic, looking forward to your thoughts, thanks.. ~ Mrs. Cachu
  20. We got "Peppered" - What a great lady!! Gotta love these coins...very nice!! Thanks Pepper!!
  21. Sara, I love your coin, it turned out GREAT!! Very nice - so now I guess we need to make a trade eh? Check out my list and let me know if I have any that interest you! Thanks! ~ Georgia
  22. From The Caching Place Team: Our decision to create an alternate forum for the discussion of geocoins was made solely on what has been happening in the geocoin forums over the past several weeks. There has been much discussion about NOT being able to say EBAY, talk about charity auctions, etc as well as many threads being locked by moderators because of commercial links. Because of this we decided at The Caching Place that it might be a benefit for folks to have an 'open' forum where these types of discussions could be freely talked about, and so our letter was sent to "our" existing "newsletter subscribers" offering this alternative. Perhaps Groundspeak is 'assuming' too much here..... In no way was there a "breach of trust" and for that matter, the termination of Craig was totally unexpected and came out of the blue. There was NO mention at anytime that they were concerned with his actions. The offer for him to resign was unacceptable - why would Craig say he was resigning, when he had done nothing wrong? The reason we published the email from Bryan in the UTAG forums was to inform the Utah cachers of the termination and because we felt it was unjustified. Afterall, Craig has been a member of this caching family for 4 years - and over 3 years as the local approver.. The management at The Caching Place stands by their decision to create this alternate forum and welcome cachers to discuss freely the hobby that we all enjoy. We are saddend by the actions and the accusations made by Bryan and Jeremy.

I'm with Marky.....an hour isn't even time enough to set all my books out I think we'll need at least 1/2 a day or an entire evening....this is going to be FUN!! Hope to see you all there!! Mrs Cachu
  25. Maybe they are puzzle piece shaped and the four of them together make a circle or rectangle. If not, maybe I will do that... lol --Marky Alright...who's been blabbing all our secrets.....can't keep anything a surprize anymore Guess we better get on the ball if we wanna be first eh?
