thanks Art, you are a great help to many people on this site! Does anyone have any opinions on the relative accuracy of the 9MB marine for soprtrak vs. the meridian 14mb?

I downloaded the Meridian 14MB map and installed on my SporTrak pro and since I somewhat know what I'm doing now I want to see what the 9MB basemap that came with my Pro has to offer in comparison. Should have saved off the file, darn it. Anyone know where it can be downloaded? Also if anyone has opinions on whether the 9MB marine-oriented stock map is a more accurate or newer basemap that would be appreciated too. Thanks!

So no other mapping software works with Magellan other than MapSend, right? I was hoping maybe MSFT Streets and Trips 2003 works. It claims on the package that it supports all GPS units that support "NMEA 2.0" and above (i may have spelled that wrong...)

Newbie with a Mag Sportrak pro and mapsend topo on order. Please explain how this might function for my uses... I'm in WA state. Thx.

Newbie trying to find the answer for a couple days thru searching, so I apologize in advance if this horse has been beaten to death... Will I see much of a difference in the basemap if I swap the 9MB default with the 14MB Meridian? Also, all the reviews on Amazon.com are so negative on MapSend Topo CD, I'm wondering whether it's worth it. Just disappointed in the map support in this unit.
