ok you dont know what caching is... how did u get into these forums then? caching =geo caching. Are you looking to just use the 315 for roads or you wanting to get into the geocaching society?
-
can you tell me if your planning on going caching with the 315? If so do you have the usb cable? do you have easy gps downloaded? OK lets start there first

I have a garmin 60csx.. I am wondering if there is a way to run the streets part of the gps with the caches at the same time. Then when you get to the closest place to park switch it over to trail.. Something that would show which would be the closest at the same time.. I am not sure I really worded this just right.., Any help would be great Thanks for taking the time to read

Hi I have a palm tungsten/E which I cant get to hot sync. I have called palm which I was told my operating system wasnt compatible which I am running XP media center. Does anyone know how to get around this issue? So that I can use this unit for paperless caching. Any help would be greatly appreciated. One other thing could I just insert the SD card into the pc and load the info then place in the Palm and completely skip the hot sync all together. Thanks for any input into this problem Joy

how to manual enter coords. in magellan 315
Wee Be Team replied to Wee Be Team's topic in GPS technology and devices
In normal operating mode most GPS receivers show the coordinates of where you are at that instant. Is this what's happening here? You won't see the coordinates for a waypoint you've created that's remote from your location. well how am i to get there if it is going to read here -
